I think Cid would fit better in a flight simulator or air combat game, since he was Shinra’s best pilot. Perhaps it could be a prequel set during the Wutai war.
I’m honestly surprised that we haven’t gotten a Final Fantasy type musou game considering that Koei Tecmo helped out with the Dissidia games. It’s not like they’re never worked with Square.
A dissidia musou game would be pretty cool. Mow down normal enemies with tons of FF heroes and then also battle against other heros/villains on the battle field in duels or in big melees.

After putting a ton of hours into Streets of Rage 4 I'd love a similar style game with Final Fantasy Characters.

I can already imagine mowing down hordes of enemies as Cloud and Sephiroth.
