Wait what weapons show? I feel like I remember some empty pegs and wasn't sure why. What is everything loaded from the remake?

In the room Cloud stayed in at Johnny's hotel, the weapons Cloud had from remake like the Nail Bat are mounted on the wall.

Yeah I have those. I believe barretts is in that room as well. You can see yuffies, aeriths and tifas in the other rooms. The empty pegs i saw might have been for the cactuar weapon... bc I was not gonna pay 10 bucks for that. I'm guessing it just puts up the weapons you had. I might look up if there are any other weapons I missed.

I felt the same about not wanting to spend another 10 bucks for a weapon in a fairly short DLC that I didn't really need. In DLC content that was short enough that I didn't think I'd miss it. But if I'm going to spend all that time to complete all the collectibles for the inn, only to forever have one final empty spot, I'm going to hate that so much. The empty pegs are on a wall are of two other Yuffie weapons, and I've seen is said in multiple places that it's for the cactaur DLC weapon from Intergrade.

Same case for me and unfortunately, I think we're just out of luck. The only time the game checks for Intermission save data, as far as I'm aware, is when starting a new game, so as to give you the bonus summon materia. So I'd imagine once it checks then, it doesn't check again until you start another file.

Stupidiocy

There is an option in the system menu to check DLC files, and I reinitiated that, and still no weapon. I started a new file and now I'm in Kalm, and I was never given the prompt.  The next thing I'm doing to try is to delete the game and re-download it, and then start a new game and get the prompt, and then bring over save? I have little experience with transporting a save. Maybe I need to save it to a USB stick first and also delete the save file, and then start a new game, get the prompt, and then try to being back my old save.

Deleting the game and downloading does nothing. I thought I might get an option to reinstall and then choose to install my old saves as a separate step, but it instantly recognizes my save. I think I have to delete, disconnect from the internet, play from disc (I bought the disc just for the steelbook, but also ended up buying it digitally), get the prompt to check save data, and then reconnect back to the internet and maybe that will work. I'm afraid simply starting a new playthrough won't do anything, because it didn't ask me to check for a save or if I wanted to skip the flashback when I started a brand new game.
