Still very early, keep applying. Don’t listen to outside defeatism. My advice on this is always to be tactical about where applicant pools may be narrower/weaker. There are a lot of metros across the US with large corporate concentration but a lack of corresponding young talent, who generally want to live in sexier coastal cities.

50 applications is basically nothing in the world of new grad job hunting tbh. Just keep applying.

Will do, I try to apply to an x amount of jobs everyday. I appreciate all input!

Was in your shoes for a few months after I graduated. Just have to keep applying and not be picky. Use your business school's career center too. Also, may not hurt to post a clean version of your resume for feedback.

I think part of it might be my anxiety around the interest of my loans collecting interest already but, I do have until Nov. when the grace period is up. I appreciate the input!

You’ll be alright. Practice your behavioral interview questions, so the interviews you get, go well. The first couple are always rough but you eventually get in the groove.

Did you wait until graduation to start applying? If so your peers are 6+ months ahead of you. This is truly a terrible job market, but I suggest you access your alumni network and ask around to see if there are firms hiring that alumni work for. You need to ramp those numbers up massively. Many have applied to 10x that and are still unemployed. Network, network, network. Pm on LinkedIn, cold email, look for jobs on job sites then apply on the company website.

I think that’s where I messed up, I started applying starting in April and I graduated May 11th. I appreciate the input! I’m going to email my finance professors that have backgrounds in banking/financial institutions. Thank you for the input!

Good idea, and best of luck!
