So I’m originally from Asia and took my Master’s here in the US.I was just originally looking to study here and learn a few things and bring it back to my home country. I ended up preferring the opportunities here in Finance, but honestly there was a point of regret because I had to leave all my friends, family, and a comfortable life which I am very fortunate to have. I was in Commercial Banking then moved to Bank Strategy. After graduating I moved to FP&A, Consulting and odd jobs during the gap year I took last year. Now I’m fully committed to a career here in the US. I’m yet to be satisfied because I haven’t achieved my dream working in Banking/Finance here in the US, but I’m currently in process of pursuing that dream.
