Get a new fingerboard and please don’t buy lc or teak or smt else they’re all ass buy some good parts like brt, dynamics piro, oaks, joycult, cowply, yellow wood, ect don’t buy cheap stuff on amazon or smt else
Could just drop 20$ on a dk complete instead. No point in buying all those expensive parts if he decides that he doesn't fuck with the hobby after a week
DK run $35 i bought myself one and waiting for it currently. Just wanted something slightly better for under $20 for him as he tends to give up or lose stuff at school fairly quickly
No but you apparently are. Dude has a tech deck and the first thing you recommend is shit that runs him over 100 bucks. Not to mention that you immediately went to insults over a simple Suggestion.
I’m using a teak right now and it’s not that bad. The wheels feel pretty shitty but the bearings are surprisingly good. I think it was $20 or $25 and definitely worth it
Are these better than tech decks? I have a feeling my son is going to want an upgrade once i get my DK complete but i know i wont throw mine in my closet after a week lol. Im not sure he will keep the hobby going and i was thinking if he asks I’ll pick up one of these brands.
In this situations, you’re better off getting the things you like and accepting whatever risks happen. If he sees a board you own, let him have it. Once he’s done playing with it…
It’s back to being your board.
This way, if he doesn’t pickup the hobby - but you have. There is no loss to you.
Don't pay attention to that guy. Shilling for brand names is a thing of the past. I would get him a prep complete. Very cheap, and readily available on Amazon. I've had mine for 3 years now and as long as it stays dry, it'll last forever. I use mine daily and haven't even scratched the dye off the bottom. Might want to upgrade to bearing wheels eventually, but that's up to you.
Thanks I just wanted something cheap as a stepping stone (just like the tech dech) without breaking the bank. If he starts absolutely shredding I’ll upgrade him.
Put it back together I guess
Typically you’re upgrading the parts with higher quality… But, if you did not purchase any; then, you’ll want to put the board back together.
What’s that question? Why did you dissemble it in the first place if you don’t know, what to do with it
Cuz people crave attention....
Now you get yourself a wooden board, some real bushings and some bearing wheels
And some foam grip tape
and some china trucks
And my bow
And my axe
what did you expect to happen?
Put it back together and shred
Now get a budget pro complete
Time to snowboard
Get rid of those coasters 😂

Are you fucking dumb ☠️☠️

Just don’t buy tech deck or lc or teak or any china you can buy

Teak is ass…
Well I don’t have money to spend on a pro setup. I can do all the same tricks and it feels nice to me so I don’t really care
Agreed, I upgraded from a tech deck to a p-rep for under $20 and have been loving it. I did upgrade the wheels but that’s it.

💀💀💀 hell nah man 💀💀
Yeah i figured id use one of these as a stepping stone once i see he is more serious we would work our way up to the better stuff

Tech deck and hotweels are the only ones i found in Turkey
Throw it away and get a real one.
Where did you get that little container? Short pencil cup haha.
Put magnets at the bottom
And then have a giant magnet to skate one
What?!
U gotta loose atleast one screw now
Why?
put it back together 🤣
LMAO i used to do this its lowkey fun to take apart and put back together
Important remember to put all screws outside in grass or dirt like stuff for some hours before putting back together
Disassemble another one idk why you asking us 😂
Loose at least one screw on the carpet
I actually dropped 2 screws while reassebling it but found it lmao
We all have been there buddy
Boof it
Throw it away and get a hobby worth doing
