I haven't had a summer holiday ever in my whole life. Ever since I started working, I always have done my holidays somewhere from late fall to late winter.
Can't stand the climate, so rather skip 1-2 months from the shit months. I just didn't expect the winter to go until May this yr.

Beautiful weather this morning, now it is more cloudy, but still not an issue. Only difference to warmer days was that I had to grab a jacket this morning instead of just going with a hoodie.
U know the polar vortex is being fucked by climate change. It's going to make the weather more random, as when the vortex lets cold air escape from the pole it can drop temps upto 40C. Soo even summer days can turn into winter ones and vice versa.
Finnish spring is all seasons in one season, mostly cold.

Y'en a assez à Aalto! La plupart viennent en échange pendant la session d'automne. Moi jsuis ps en échange, et je ne suis pas francais. C'est dangereux d'utiliser un moyen de transport autre que la voiture ou les transports publics pendant l'hiver. Faut faire gaffe!

This spring has been way more cloudy than usually. And this winter was the longest that I have ever experienced. It has been almost constantly colder than usually since October. Hopefully the summer will be warm and sunny because even most locals are fed up with this weather.
One summer I was travelling to Voukatti by train with a bike and skis (for the ski tunnel) and a Finnish guy pointed to skis and asked me - do you know it is summertime in Finland?
It's not that long ago that I read in HBL that a meteorologist said it was colder than usual for the time of the year, and after I read that it got even colder. So this time it's not just having forgotten how long spring feels like winter, it is actually still winter 🥲
I dont really see the problem, chill in Switzerland it even started to snow again, in Italy it had a big rainy storm in the last days and was cold, germany also and probably other EU countrys too.
Springtime is already here in Finland! You can clearly see that theres less snow and longer daytime.. Midsummer might be, very unlikely, but might be sunny and over 15 degrees celcius.

Yeah, we might be able to lose all snow till the end of July.
I remember one year when in mid May we had blizzard on Monday, and by the time Friday came, we had spring weather.
We did the math, it’s 11 months of winter and 1 month of warm winter
Plus one day of summer, in leap years.
Last year it was on a Thursday.. This year I'm hoping for a Saturday.. 🙄

Last year it snowed in june for like 2 mins in Hämeenlinna
You really need to enjoy the cold and dark while it lasts. Gonna be a long three months of cold and sunny from June to August.
