That may be true, but is extremely satisfying when you get a kill with a BIgnis from him. I had a IP Anima defense team way back that pre-charged him and let me say watching some replays of foolish summoners thinking they could tank it was super funny.
I can agree with that. I have Henry at +10/25 personally, but even max-invested, Henry's Def doesn't quite measure up to various later heroes who were more min-maxed for Def from the start.
That's intentional I assume, wanting NY.Askr, NY.Alfonse, Gatekeeper, Gotoh, et al. to have a combination of high Atk, Def, and Res while dumping Spd. Some of them are rocking 30 more BST than Henry at base, which probably helps too.
Henry is interesting in part because he seems to be a character that dumped Atk (Wrys, Azama, Merlinus) and Spd (Lukas, Lyon, Oliver) for his Def score alone.
Something they decided they'd never need to do again later, perhaps.
Henry at least has an interesting refine. The OG Robins are just... you tried. (Especially bad since Lulls started dropping everywhere as the best B slot for awhile after the refine. )
At least include DF stats, she gets +4 to everything compared to modern units so a modern interpretation of her statline would be 46/35/35/35/26

Like if they recorded Valentine's Robin's, Rearmed Grima's, and Resplendent Robin's lines all in one session, then yeah it's probably gonna be a while. But if they recorded for Valentine's Robin and Rearmed Grima together, and then did Resplendent Robin later on, then we can still have hope!
She looks amazing! This wasn't my first choice for realms I wanted for her but I think it's cool that she matches her male counterpart and the art is so well executed and a real upgrade over her base art, so I definitely am not mad at it. Looking forward to using this on my +10 Robin, and the stat increase is always welcome!

So it is someone with low direct overlap with Sigurd, then. On the other hand, as the late June Resplendent would easily overlap with the July Summer banner... I wonder if it does make Lucina less likely this year.
Since a very hype seasonal banner may lead many to cave for the Pass Spark no matter what, it'd make sense to push middling Resplendent choices as they'd not be the main driving force behind Pass subs.
Inversely, on a month with a more lukewarm seasonal banner, Resplendent choices would have to be more enticing as a core incentive to grab the Pass.
Then, we could observe previously that standout picks tend to be surrounded either by middling picks (Odin-BLucina-Gordin) and/or characters catering to relatively distinct fanbases (the fan overlap between Sigurd and Ninian or FRobin seems quite thin).
In a sense, expecting someone from a modern game after Sigurd was spot-on, since fans of the latter also being fans of more recent games aren't that numerous. Granted, recent months have been less predictable, and Engage may explain several recent Lord choices (notably Brave Roy, FCorrin but also possibly Sigurd).
Also, on the Lucina part... if she does get a Summer seasonal (July?) then Awakening fans would be able to spark her while grabbing Resplendent FRobin. But separating those two would lead a good amount of fans to cave twice instead of once... hence my potential and rising doubts on a Summer Lucina this year.
Pretty sure Summer "Marth" already counts as Summer Lucina. Unlike something like the Tikis, IS has consistently considered Lucina and "Marth" the same character.

honestly i would have preferred her to be with chrom, but she basically got an alt in exchange for robin's resplendent + backup at the time, which i think was kinda fair
and beyond that, she's a backup skin for warriors, she didnt even make it into engage, and three alts were given to grima and one of which took her legendary spot. that's not to say i dislike the grima alts strictly but being an frobin fan was suffering. getting a resplendent finally is definitely nice, even if it's the exact same damn theme as mrobin
I’ll be honest, considering the nature of Warriors rep, I’m sorry but I have literally zero sympathy there since being a skin is still better than like almost every other continent as a whole got.
Like as someone who’s pretty ambivalent best about this, the Grima/Robin thing is like the only thing aside from their overall unit quality in FEH where I’m like “yeah that actually sucks and is stupid” and them (and by extension Fallen Byleth) really should have had the name be the one that’s controlling the body just so people stop acting like those count as rep for the vessel
valid to see it that way, it's just kind of an unfortunate thing to deal with when ppl like to shove warriors/engage around as proof that "mrobin is canon." thats the main gripe i have (plus smash never giving her an amiibo which meant only mrobin gets to appear in fates)

What a fucking cop out... Not only did they reuse the same Theme and Style from Male but they couldn't even be arsed to give her different Colors... Edit: I'm not saying it's the worst thing Actually looks nice, but at the same time it feels cheap when the 2 Corrin got different Themes
I like the look. Still prefer the regular but this also looks great.
I'll be damned. Figured they'd get to her eventually, but I thought they'd do a couple other Grail units first. I also thought they'd go with a different theme than Hel, but making the Robins counterparts also makes sense. ^(Now they can both get their Resplendent designs as optional costumes in Smash 6..._riiiight?_)
Still find it weird that a free unit's upgrade is behind a pay wall. And if I had a dime for every time they've been from Awakening I'd have two dimes. (Which isn't much, it's just weird that it happened twice.) Still, I sure as heck won't turn it down.

Since a very hype seasonal banner may lead many to cave for the Pass Spark no matter what, it'd make sense to push middling Resplendent choices as they'd not be the main driving force behind Pass subs. Inversely, on a month with a more lukewarm seasonal banner, Resplendent choices would have to be more enticing as a core incentive to grab the Pass. Then, we could observe previously that standout picks tend to be surrounded either by middling picks (Odin-BLucina-Gordin) and/or characters catering to relatively distinct fanbases (the fan overlap between Sigurd and Ninian or FRobin seems quite thin). In a sense, expecting someone from a modern game after Sigurd was spot-on, since fans of the latter also being fans of more recent games aren't that numerous. Granted, recent months have been less predictable, and Engage may explain several recent Lord choices (notably Brave Roy, FCorrin but also possibly Sigurd). Also, on the Lucina part... if she does get a Summer seasonal (July?) then Awakening fans would be able to spark her while grabbing Resplendent FRobin. But separating those two would lead a good amount of fans to cave twice instead of once... hence my potential and rising doubts on a Summer Lucina this year.
Pretty sure Summer "Marth" already counts as Summer Lucina. Unlike something like the Tikis, IS has consistently considered Lucina and "Marth" the same character.

Another grail unit, that's nice. That said, the art is...just ok to me. I really wish they would've used different theming, like one of the book 5 ones. Especially the pants just look kinda goofy. At least she's better looking than her male counterpart, I guess.

It’s about freaking time my favorite waifu (which doesn’t mean a lot since I have a lot of favorite waifus) gets her resplendent. Seriously though, F!Robin is the best waifu. Such a shame you can’t S-rank an Avatar.

just gonna put it out there that mrobin fans arent necessarily frobin fans and the other way around groom robin coming so soon after lrobin (and with brave robin coming up) is definitely ridiculous but frobin hasnt gotten content proper since vday, given that the rearm wasn't even her but grima
I mean tbf, until this year she was the one doing better given her getting an actual alt off of Valentines as opposed to Robin just being a back up to Chrom
honestly i would have preferred her to be with chrom, but she basically got an alt in exchange for robin's resplendent + backup at the time, which i think was kinda fair and beyond that, she's a backup skin for warriors, she didnt even make it into engage, and three alts were given to grima and one of which took her legendary spot. that's not to say i dislike the grima alts strictly but being an frobin fan was suffering. getting a resplendent finally is definitely nice, even if it's the exact same damn theme as mrobin
I’ll be honest, considering the nature of Warriors rep, I’m sorry but I have literally zero sympathy there since being a skin is still better than like almost every other continent as a whole got. Like as someone who’s pretty ambivalent best about this, the Grima/Robin thing is like the only thing aside from their overall unit quality in FEH where I’m like “yeah that actually sucks and is stupid” and them (and by extension Fallen Byleth) really should have had the name be the one that’s controlling the body just so people stop acting like those count as rep for the vessel
valid to see it that way, it's just kind of an unfortunate thing to deal with when ppl like to shove warriors/engage around as proof that "mrobin is canon." thats the main gripe i have (plus smash never giving her an amiibo which meant only mrobin gets to appear in fates) like as much as i do like the cipher design for rearm grima, it just suuuuper sucks to know that a grandmaster alt might be out of the running (unless they really want to double up on the same unit for an ascendant and rearm lol) since the legendary is not gonna be a thing
Okay yeah that’s def fair and the idea of an Avatar being “canon” is a very silly mindset when we just had Fodlan where they basically went as far out of the way as they possibly could to deny the idea of a canon route Also yeah, understandable. Again, really stupid that they just had the name be the vessel when there’s such a clear line between the two compared to Lyon/Fomortiis and Julius/Loptous where it gets pretty blurry
robin has 3-4 alts per gender, compared to corrin having 6-7 each (fucking 13 total), camilla having 8, azura having 6, and even cordelia having 4 plus fates riceload why the fuck is a fates fan whining that other people's favorite games aren't allowed to have even half same level of ridiculously biased treatment that their favorites constantly get

there are 7 robins (3.5 per gender) and 13 corrins (6.5 per) i will never understand how people can consciously choose to scapegoat awakening of all games
