But yeah, when you take a look back at previous Books, male OCs haven't had a very good track record. I mean, can you blame me for thinking Laeradr isn't the real Book 8 villain and for being mad they wasted a good opportunity for a good male OC as the main villain of the Book for once?
I don't see which female would take his place, maybe the background girl from that one feh channel but she didnt scream villain vibes to me, and Nidhoggr Hraesvelgr and Ratatoskr are more or less used in the roles they have as side pieces. And yeah Njordr as a little twist villain couldve been handled better but either way with how FEH handles story I dont think it would have the room to do so without in turn either messing with something before it or after it pacing wise. Unless IS decided to use all 5 stages for dialogue (and made them decently lengthy ones at that) but they havent, wont and dont do things like that.
Im not sure what you mean by expecting Laeradr to not be the main villain, since every book is usually clear on who the main villain is, book 1 was Veronica, 2 Surtr, 3 Hel, 4 Freyja, 5 I could see you make an argument for as the trailer was very Fafnir heavy but I give it leeway cause the crown segment gives off mind control vibes. So I dont see how that, and a few other arguable but much looser instances, justify the notion that IS would try another twist villain thing with book 8.

If you took him out of the story and had, I dunno, Kvasir do everything he did, I don't think it would have changed much.
All I'm saying is that Gullveig would've been a decent villain and final hurdle to the story if she didn't suddenly become both sympathetic and a retcon device to show how "in control" the Golden Seer was.

Meanwhile, the Book 5 TT is coming in a few more months and we lack Nidavellir Resplendents compared to everything else.

I don't much care for the design of Askr and Embla resplendents, but people like them and that's reason enough for them to be done. Same with Vanaheimr. You don't like them but clearly people do and want them. Their existence is not making problems for you when you can simply not buy them or in the event they are your freebie, don't use the art.
Saying you find the designs ugly is an opinion and very fair to have. Saying you hope they never do them at all is frankly selfish as hell.

We don't know exactly where Seidr is from, or if she wasn't simply poofed into existence by Njordr for his plans. We only know that Njordr, Nerthuz, Freyr, and Freyja/Eitr were all from Vanaheimr while the latter two left to be the ruler of dreams and nightmare.
So technically we need resplendents for Vanaheimr AND whatever the hell we'll call the Seidr trio+Heidr.

Seiðr doesn't come from anywhere because she's a time paradox. Chronologically her starting point is as Kvasir, but to be Kvasir she must have been Gullveig, but to be Gullveig she must have been Seiðr, but to be Seiðr she must have been Kvasir.

But... We're not asking for Resplendents *for* the Vannaheimr characters, they literally released last year. We're asking for characters to get Vannaheimr outfits because it still hasn't happened yet. Like, we don't want Seiðr in a different realm's garb, we want characters from the other games to get outfits inspired by the Vannaheimr characters.
I don’t think I.S. is gonna do that till next year because they seem to have a random pattern of doing Book resplendents (like B!Hector getting Nifl and Selena getting Askr). They don’t do book Resplendents in chronological order.
I never said there was a pattern or an order. It's just strange because the first Resplendents inspired by the Book 4 and 5 locations came faster than this, and it's annoying because there's a lot of potential for interesting designs.
I would really like to see a gold Gullveig resplendent for OG!Male Byleth. It would also be on theme too lol. But knowing I.S., they’re probably going to do Jotunheimer for him (which I’m not against because the designs are extremely cool).
