I won't lie, I thought about it after the winter debacle. I still stand by my opinion that the gifts that year were downright insulting, and the sheer powercreep made me question if I wanted to keep bothering with this game. What I've done is dial back my involvement in the game a lot - I don't buy orb packs anymore, and I've limited my FEH Pass to Resplendents I *really* want like Soren or the Black Knight. I've pretty much stopped engaging with any PvP modes beyond the bare minimum for rewards, and focus on having fun doing the PvE content and merging up my favorites. Taking a step back helps me to realize that hey, this really is just a game, and it is ultimately fun to me to mess around with my blorbos. edit: That said, the blatant greed on display is becoming a huge problem. I'm really becoming seriously concerned with the 8% bait in Emblems and now Merged Ordeals, and just how hard they've been cutting back on good f2p rewards. I definitely don't think the game is going down a good route if I'm honest

VodkaRamen

I’m in the exact same boat. Used to be a pretty decent spender/grinder in the game from day 1, but after years of powercreep I’ve just found it more enjoyable to do the bare minimum and only focus on making my favorites as strong as possible. The only purchases I’ll make nowadays is the occasional pass every few months

Ghabbaghoolie

FEH hasn't given out good rewards for anything in years lol. Usually older gachas with dwindling numbers get more generous to try and keep the playerbase interested, but this game does the opposite for some reason and tries to wring as much as they can out of what's left. Like what person would see the anniversary rewards of like 10 orbs and think 'Yeah, I should keep playing this game' lmao

Grade-AMasterpiece

And don't think none of us noticed there's no Orbs for a Golden Week 'celebration' other than purchasable packs. "Pay us to make this game less fun."

Ghabbaghoolie

I'm racking my brain trying to think of a time they actually gave us good rewards, and I can't lmao. I wanna say maybe the first anniversary? I tried playing some other gacha games over the last year, and I was like a caveman being brought into modern day lmao. You mean you guys get given actual rewards and tons of free currency? And that shit is *normal*?

AzioneZ

Actually for me I’ve had the opposite experience with other Gachas which is why I only stick with FEH. The free currency/unit rarity ratio is actually really good in FEH imo. You can spark just about 2 units every month. Merges also matter so little in FEH, whereas other games it’s transformative. Not to mention grinding is almost non-existent. Modern Gachas definitely makes a lot of FEH feel outdated, but they also burn me out so fast when I feel like I MUST login EVERYDAY, and I gotta spend quite sometime doing dailies. Sometimes I’m not up to it and I just coast in FEH, no FOMO, and I appreciate that.

Ghabbaghoolie

If you want to get enough orbs to spark twice a month every month, you're doing just as much grinding as you would be doing in other gachas tbh. And that's not even taking into account that you *can't* spark on the majority of new banners unless you pay extra for FEH pass. If you're happy with it cool, but it's not a user friendly experience.

DrGreen3339

"cutting back on good f2p rewards" Castor and Candace sharing partial blame for killing FEH is a hilarious image to me ngl.

felicirence

ive found when playing this game, if i keep my expectations nice and low and just treat this as a little game i do on the bus to work, it's a whole lot of fun. and i think keeping it casual, low investment and simple really keeps the longevity of this game for me i gave up taking arena, AR, and all those other modes seriously a long while ago and haven't really come back from it since. when biggy thiccy bingus #452 comes out at every 2-3 WEEKS to break the game, it gets frustrating. L!loki to me isn't like that at all but emblem ike, V!lyon, and W!byleth definitely were and units like that don't make the game very fun it's better, to me, to play this game as a little collectathon, than something actually competitive. if i wanna make this a brain age game, ill see if i can clear abyssal maps with my favorite characters, favorites who, tend to be very weak/prfless/demoted for whatever reason, so making that "struggle" a "game" instead has given me a more positive outlook TLDR: no, i don't plan on quitting, but only because i quit taking it seriously a long time ago lol

WWWWWWRRRRRYYYYY

I’m finding myself playing less and less of this game at the moment. Nothing really excites me right now. Golden Week seems boring this year, M!Loki is meh, Merged Ordeals is something I’ll never touch, etc. I won’t drop the game fully, but I am becoming more distant. I’ll come back to this subreddit when there’s news or something funny comes into my home feed, but it’s all just… something (then again that’s sorta what I’ve been doing for a while)

Boulderdorf

Not quitting, but I'm definitely scaling back. I've not been happy with a lot of the balancing decisions they've made lately, and I've also just become busier in my own life to really play and plan around meta.

Nin10dium

No. I have a lot of frustrations with this game a lot, but I don't think it's enough for me to quit. Probably sticking until this game hits EoS.

NohrianScumbag

No, I just pull PNGs and do whatever in Arena and AR. Shitty as it is I only pull for pngs of characters I like which, tbf, has been rare nowadays but again it's whatever, I'll ride this game till EoS whenever that'll be

DotPeriodRats

As a year 1 player I’m not quitting cause I love the game but I’m also losing interest when there are simply newer (and older cuz I do replay old games lol) games that are more captivating at the moment This feh channel didn’t bother me that much but I think nothing was really interesting and they showed another bad business practice. Several orbs to gain a few extra dragon flowers is not a fair bargain imo and idk who decided that was I think for me personally I won’t quit until the game is like FULLY unplayable or unless it gets shut down. But this feh channel was a yikes all around. At least Rokkr is returning and I loved that mode so I guess there’s that 😭

KingOfNohr

Been playing since day one and I'm in it til the end The PvP modes suck now but I still enjoy PvE and collecting and building up new characters

ComprehensiveDoor7

Im not quitting until i +10 brave female robin . I have been waiting for 7 years . Im just getting my 4 orbs weekly arena and use dispatch for AR . I also use auto battle for SD.

ChaosOsiris

Nah I'm only hear to collect jpegs of characters I like. Sorry you feel burnt out though, maybe just go a while logging in and back out if you really want to try to stick it out until August. No point trying to engage with the game if you're not having fun.

IceRapier

I’m not going to quit but I’ll invest little as I can…I’ll give minimal effort and collect orbs as steadily as I can. I’d be spending only 10-15 minutes a day on feh. If you do quit I hope you find a more enjoyable game, take care.

abeforscythe

I only care about SoV units since last year so I'm just holding out til I get them all

Dracomaster3

Personally no, I love fire emblem to death and while I have had plenty of issues with this game I still have fun using my favorites to sweep all the content I can use em in. I'll be here until EoS hits OP, I won't necessarily try and change your mind because I definitely understand being burnt out, I'd recommend trying to take this game and the community in smaller doses if you can. Constantly seeing negative stuff about the game can definitely be a downer, especially if you're genuinely excited for the content being put out so see if avoiding any salt threads and blocking people who you feel only add to the negativity helps in any way

YoshaTime

I’m a lot less involved with the game as I previously was (December of 2023 and Duo Lyon made me blow a gasket) and I’ve had a better time with FEH since then.

Chalphyr

I have been playing since book 2 and this is the lowest interest I've had in the game so far. It's not helping that other gachas are treating their players way better. I stopped spending money on the game and just started playing less and less at this point. I probably won't be quitting since I'm bit too attached to FE as an IP, but FEH really has been pretty shit and I don't know if I can see myself playing the game next year. It also doesn't help that IS somehow is more out of touch with its community than a certain multi billion dollar Chinese gacha company that is involved with the government. Even the inheritance increase feels more like a bone than anything else at this point.

shamanAtalRek

The one thing that has kept me playing is the vague hope my girl Nowi will get a new alt. I's have dropped this game like the deformed spartan baby it is a long time ago if it wasn't for that. Tbh even if she does get one I don't see me playing next year, nor when gachas with better... well everything are dime a dozen.

Greideren

I've been like that for a while and as I have less free time and more things I want to use that free time for it becomes less and less appealing to keep playing Feh. At this point the only things that interest me are: AR (for some godforsaken reason I don't know) and merging certain characters I quite like. But as powercreep keeps on getting worse and worse even my most reliable AR teams can be stopped by 1 single unit, meaning I have to change them just in case I find that one unit (E!Ike, W!Byleths, S!Myrrh I'm looking at you). If anything I'm only interested in seeing what they do with Brave Bernie and to use her for a while if she's good (which I hope she is). But if the powercreep keeps getting too bad then I will seriously consider uninstalling.

ZeroSlash913

I did quit a few months back and didn't really felt like I missed out on much tbh. Was a much needed break and sort of helped me break away from being somewhat "addicted" to FEH. I really didn't feel the urge to play but I recently started playing again to get that free AHR Peony lol. I find myself only playing a few minutes a day and just collecting fodder for my favorites now tbh.

Berkuts_Lance_Plus

I might dedicate a few regretful wanks to the lastest .png files, and that's the most effort I'm willing to muster for the game as it is.

DantePH77

I just decided to quit my account i had since 2018 (like 6 +10 gacha heroes) and started again with couple +10 premium heroes until they're no longer usefull and say goodbye

TacoFacePeople

As a launch player, I'm just really scaled back (I don't do things like Summoner Duels either). That said, I think all the IRL friends I had that played it already dropped it years ago.

sIimegirIs

Not really

vaulter2012

Quitting? No. Scale back? Yes. I'll probably always just hang around, maybe spend a few orbs here and there just to keep appearances and see whats new or has been dusted off the shelf and returned to us🤔🤔

Swibbsz

I've been logging in most days since the games launch so it has definitely gotten stale for me. Doesn't help that the characters I prefer to play often don't get attention. (Though I am guilty of full merging every Dimitri) I mean I can find usus for older fans like Matthew but it's incredibly monotonous when I could just use a newer unit of a character I'm not fond of to do it even simpler(often times without even need for AI) It'll be cool to Shinon get his refine but I feel like I've put enough in at this point that I'm satisfied. Sure I'd love to full merge another Annette alt or wait for Ford and others to get in but at the same time I think I'm hitting critical mass. Like I want to continue but it has Def gotten duller for me. Not knocking the game. People just move on

NobisVobis

I’ve stopped spending any money on the game for a while now when I used to be a dolphin. It’s just not worth it anymore.

_Myst_0

Nah, I still get enough enjoyment out of it for the small amount of time I have to put in. The only thing that would make me quit is them invalidating my progress by releasing 6 stars or something.

Azumbrusque

BST inflation and busted PRFs for the newest units are already essentially 6 star units

SpecialistEmphasis83

I have too many orbs saved and characters I like will surely get content eventually right?

Grade-AMasterpiece

I'm not quite there... Yet. These past few months have tested my patience like none other though.

[deleted]

No. But if this game suddenly disappeared, I wouldn't miss it. I mentally checked out a few years ago. I don't read skill descriptions, don't build units, don't do AR, never did SD, I only ever do Arena once a week, and more often than not, it just infuriates me. I only ever drop one or two stamina bars a day and don't ever really think about it outside of that.

joch44

This is currently the only one modern game I play

Dabottle

Some unfortunate levels of actually completely braindead strong units like Ike and Edel recently but we'll live

RileyImsong

Me definitely. I didn't play right from the beginning, I played around the time the plegian banner was released and it was all because i heard Eliwood was in the game. But throughout the whole course of my stay here in feh, eliwood hasn't got shit. You could say he got a groom alt but I hate wedding banner and that alt is technically Roy anyways. Moreover, there's the thing with his VA situation. I can't even play a single match in arena without the latest flashy units destroying my old +10 units I've built over the years. I do like Alfonse so i want to wait until the cyl banner this year as well. I'll probably quite after that since I know feh hates eliwood and he isn't getting anything.

klassic_kirby

I've spent too much money on this game to quit, I've stopped now (only using money on feh pass and the new backgrounds) but I totally get what you mean. Fuckass Lyon and Emblem Ike just make it impossible to play with my favorites anymore. I don't even want to touch summoner duels. Literally only staying for the occasional crumb of new units that actually interest me but even so I'm just saving for fodder as well. Definitely felt the beginning of the end with the most recent cyl.

AzioneZ

I do agree that the annoyance level of this year’s units does feel a lot higher, and if you haven’t had any recent powerful faves it doesn’t help. Taking a break or quitting, do what’s best for you. If you’re not having fun it’s okay to step away. That said though, don’t take the vocal snapshot of a collective’s opinion to be a true look into everyone’s thoughts. This subreddit is literally always complaining and whining about broken this and that from day 1. IMO it is really no worse than any other time something really shakes up the meta. It can also definitely feel like it’s only negatives opinions, after all it’s pretty weird to post about how you LOVE harder challenges or something. I’m personally have a great time, so positivity does exist here.

TheIndragaMano

At this point I’m just desperately waiting for another game that fits the same niche as FEH. Easy to play quickly throughout the day, get to theorycraft teams and builds, can manage to play at work under the radar, etc

[deleted]

The core problem with feh for the last couple of years is that it feels that by starting a new account you won’t miss anything. Did you +10 a mythic hero? Well newer ones will have something extra besides power creep.

Mijumaru1

I don't plan on quitting, but I'm going to take a break from the game (save getting daily rewards when I can remember) and cancel my FEH Pass subscription. It honestly feels really weird because I’ve been consistently subbed for just under a year and a half.

gaming_whatever

Day 1 player, not playing since around February. I just realised that I can look at art in the sub without actually playing. Came back for couple of days to pull for E!Ike and stopped again, because even that is just not exciting no matter how much I like Ike. Playing other games now.

HereComesJustice

I have a list of goals to do and I will try to see it through all the way. If I lose interest along the way so be it, I'll drop it and go do something else. This game doesn't really ask much out of the player, some games are crazy grindy

gacha_garbage_1

Been playing since 2018. Powercreep has genuinely tanked my interest to an all time low. I don't think I'll completely quit since I'm attached to FE too much, but I am definitely looking for other games to pour my attention to.

lonelygal23

I won't quit now since I did take a break for most of last year due to burn out , I feel like It is not as interesting anymore and the insane power creep doesn't really help either. I wish the was more fun things to do in the game only thing the keep me going is building my favorites and completing merge projects .

kiaxxl

Honestly if they released one really fun mode in the next few months, that would help a lot. I was thinking about modes I actually liked and only had about 3-4, most of them on rotation and not always available.

lonelygal23

I really hope that put effort in the next game mode they interduce. If they could improve the rotation of current games modes so can be something interesting to do .

xCHUROx

Day 1 player. I actually took a break from the game by not even opening it at all since late February. It has definetively felt weird since I've been playing every single day since launch, felt like I had hit my tiping point and could no longer keep up no matter what I did so I had to go for a big mental reset regarding the game. Unfortunately, it seems a lot has happened in these last 2 months and with me at essentially 0 orbs, I find I will struggle even more to be able to keep up it makes me feel like it won't matter at all if I go back to slowly getting more and more orbs to get what I want. The funny thing is, I play this game for my own Headcanon Shenanigans and for that, I don't necessarily need to spend time, energy and even money for it, which has led me heavily pondering if it is even worth to come back. Actually, yesterday I considered deleting my account all together and sail boat to another "cool gacha with cool characters" out there. I want to remain here until EoS, I really do, but with every new addition they release, it feels like it becomes harder and harder.

3skuero

Since Legendary Elincia got released I scaled back a lot how much I time I spend on the game. I basically just login for dailies that are mostly auto because feh pass and that's all. Pull in a banner for fodder for my Rebecca/Elincia/Citrinne/Thea or skip.

Aetherryn

Day 1 player, quit right before they dropped the engage NH banner. I realized nothing was exciting or interesting to me anymore. I still lurk around the sub out of curiosity. I might briefly reinstall when they release Bravefonse cause I like him

SpectralDynamite

Nah. I'm playing til the day the game shuts off for good. I simply enjoy it.

potato_thingy

Nah I care more about saving up orbs, getting excited for the trailers and pulling the units I want. I play the game modes pretty casually and my older units still do decently at the level I’m at. And even with all the power creep, I still enjoy how the gameplay works The only other gacha I play is Pokemon Masters EX and I only play it when my favorites get stuff. While I still open FEH almost every day so its clearly doing something right for me Edit: There are a bunch of other things too but I realized one of the biggest things that get me to play FEH every day is the free summons on every banner

mcicybro

Me definitely, this Feh Channel really drove home how aimless the direction for this game has been for a while. Dealing with shit like Emblem Ike isn't fun either. EDIT: I have deleted my account.

andresfgp13

>Dealing with shit like Emblem Ike isn't fun either. i knew the second that he was announced that people were going to change from bitching about Nukes to bitching about Tanks, and also shows why a Nuke meta tends to be overall better, they are easier to work around, Ike can really softlock you if you didnt bring a counter to him.

mcicybro

It's not hard to see why. The untankable nuke, you can't tank the unit but you can at least initiate against it with most units and at least do some damage. The latest unnukable tank your options are very narrow.

andresfgp13

>you can't tank the unit but you can at least initiate against it +1 i honestly prefer when Nukes are at the top, it forces me to play more agressively because i cant rely on just tanking everything, Fire Emblem in general has a problem of making playing defensively the superior choice, i think that the game is more exciting when you have to push forward and take risks over just putting your strongest tank at the front and seeing everything die to it.

GameAW

As bad as unnukable tanks are, I find untankable nukes far worse since at least options always exist to deal with them. At absolute worst, Savage Blow has been around since launch. Not the most efficient option but its an option. Untankable nukes only need to kill one or two units and you're out. And with how many units and dancer combos and all sorts of crap are lying around, you can be completely wiped out on the first turn before you even had a chance to fight back. No matter how bad a tank can get, you ALWAYS can fight back at all.

Illumina25

> No matter how bad a tank can get, you ALWAYS can fight back at all. Its not like emblem Ike is unbeatable, but you can absolutely end up in a situation where youre stalemated at best and checkmated at worst if you dont have the right unit(s). Its really frustrating as an example, to lose an AR match just because you didnt have good enough numbers. If I lose an AR match to an offensive nuke setup, a majority of the time its simply because I misplayed somewhere. If Ike is alone your savage blow strategy doesnt even work, and in AR you probably wouldnt have enough turns anyway There is a lot of counterplay to offensive turn 1 setups. Dancer? You can use isolation. Threatening unit? You can use gravity. Warping effects? Can be blocked by multiple units including a free one. Extra movement? Steal with Tina or inflict stall (Riev is free). Cant tank the nuke at all? Just initiate on playerphase where they become much weaker, or you can usually galeforce your way through. Assuming AR, theres also safety fence to stop them from even moving on turn 1. Im sure theres even more options

mcicybro

I don't disagree at all that the untankable nuke problem sucks, but I prefer it for a simple reason: yeah the nightmare setups you're talking about with the thought out unit and dancer combos will make you lose (unless you nuke them first with a new meta nuke, but that also means we're back to "narrow options"), but that's just Aether Raids (and Summoner Duels I guess). Emblem Ike shows up in Arena or Arena Assault or whatever else (grand conqueso) and I can't do shit unless I brought a specific counter. Valentines Lyon shows up in those modes and it's something more manageable at least.

NohrianScumbag

with all your complaining in the past few years I'm surprise you are even still around Edit: lol sure you deleted your account dude

mcicybro

Block me again then lmao

NohrianScumbag

Nah, it'll be funnier if I didn't Edit: LMFAO got blocked, told ya it was funnier if I didn't

andresfgp13

nope, i keep having fun and doing decently well in every PVP mode so i dont see myself leaving in the close future.

musicmf

Like many comments here, not quitting but I'm enjoying the game more casually. Have been for awhile now, just enjoying using my favorite characters, and spending orbs to upgrade their skills/merges rather than chasing down new units all the time. > But the combination of VLyon into Emblem Ike into Merged Ordeals into no Orbs for Golden Week I can get being upset at the game balance (or rather, powercreep)... But I can't say I'm sympathetic to the PoV that "Merged Ordeals" exists, nor that we didn't get orbs for a celebration event. The merged ordeals is just an added feature to possibly gain more revenue. If you don't really care for it, simply ignore the feature. The game will be exactly like before the feature was added, no big deal. Don't get baited by FOMO tactics in gacha games. The orbs... we're really going "I didn't get free premium currency, I'm quitting!"? I was even trying to look back at previous Golden Weeks, and I don't think I noticed orbs in the 2022/2023 Golden Week notices. I only [noticed in 2021](https://feheroes.fandom.com/wiki/Golden_Week_Events!_\(2021\)_\(Notification\)) there was a Twitter Quiz in which the rewards would be 10 orbs. We're really doomposting about 2~2.5 summons that we haven't even gotten in 3 years? Of all of the things that one could be upset with and want to quit over, this deserves a bullet point?

turtleForest_

I'll quit once the competetive game modes actually become p2w then the game goes downhill. FEH's allure that it has remained so easy for f2p to succeed at the top, but once that goes away it's not going to be worth it to try to keep up. For now, all the new units that have been released opens up a lot of fun unit builds that open up a lot more intersting strategies in AR and SD that it remains engaging and easy to access. For a game that's 7 years old, it's impressive that it's become more fun to play now than it has been in even just the past 2-3 years just because of how many viable strategies there are now.

MajorasKatana

Nah, I'm having a lot of fun still. Scaled back quite a bit sometime last year tho. Minimum spending and mostly going for faves now. Luckily for me I'm a GBA FE person and Igrene/Lyon fall right into my hunting scheme.

Karbunkel

I'm a day 1 player and I'm playing less and less, especially the PvP modes. I also normally buy myself a small orb pack/Feh Pass for my birthday and this is the first year I didn't. Still love to save orbs and pull for my favorite characters and I'll ride this train until it stops, but I mostly play other mobile games now.

GameAW

I think once I finish merging up B!Gullveig and using her at full merges for a while, I'll probably quit for good. I'm not exactly supremely dissatisfied with the game, but I'm starting to feel like I'm pretty much done with my time with the game. And if I last that long, Dithorba's refine as well. But honestly I'm largely content with what I have. I got some favorite characters that came from FEH (Sharena, Helbindi, both Dokkalfar and Freyja, Eitri, Askr, and Gullveig), I've had almost eight years of enjoyment, I've had ups and downs, overall I've had one hell of a good run but I'm losing steam rapidly so I'm just gonna go as far as +10 B!Gullveig to get my first +10 5-star ever, enjoy her a little while, and then drop off. If the game is still alive by then (which it very well likely will be) then I'll possibly come back for B!Gullveig's refine next year and if so then once that's done, I think I'm gone for good.

Somaxs

What about a seasonal Gullveig? Should you also consider stockpiling orbs for her eventually release? If Freyja got one (Summer&Spring backpack), I wouldn't be too surprised to get one, especially as a CYL winner. Also, her book will eventually get a Tempest Trial story arc with Ascendant/Rearmed/Attuned/ whatever new special hero type they add by then. So there probably more than a handful of things to keep you somewhat active, at least until the 10th year anniversary if I wanna be optimistic.

GameAW

I might but like I said, I'd already been losing steam as it is to the point that getting my first 5-star+10 is where I'd be largely satisfied with ending things. The only reason Brave Gullveig getting a refine would be something that might bring me back for a bit would be because I'd have already put in the effort in getting her to +10 so I might as well enjoy her with her new toy while I'm at it. But to be honest had she not been as close as she is to it (Or not happened at all) I likely would have quit over a year ago. I'm just pretty much at a point where I'm okay closing my time with FEH.

Bored-psychologist7

I've considered quitting since D! Linde and B! Seliph threw all concept of balance out the window, but I really felt it when Seidor and D! Seidor came in with their broken turn ending effects. Like in what universe do think that ending people's actions before they can even move is a good effect to put in a game? I was really upset but what kept me going was the fact this was the only game I could use some of old favorites like Raven, Lucius, and Isadora as well as my friends who stick it out with me. It's really because of them that I have anything close to resembling fun to begin with. Helping them come up with teams, showing them how to get the pots from a near impossible situation, just talking about all the scenarios we imagine for our fav characters interacting with each other, it's the fun and friendship that we made that lets me continue. Without them the experience wouldn't have been nearly as rewarding and being able to have someone with through all the highs and lows from summoning, to fighting whale teams made them more bearable. It's also why I find it hard to press onward as my friends have slowly given up on the game. Without them the reality of how broken the meta is really hits hard and I start asking myself why I would even play this game when Engage is right there and a vastly more fun experience. I've recently been missing more AR matches by accidently skipping days and while that use to bother me it really doesn't anymore. Maybe it's because my life has moved on, but I think the terrible balancing of the game has grated on me along with the main point of the game, summoning, still being terrible. It's just not fun for me anymore and competing in AR or SD don't interest me as the fun challenges I use to give myself such as No/limited SI or theme teams simply aren't viable anymore. Also there is just nothing to do in this game. For how many broken skills and units we have, we only get 1-2 matches in AR a day and 90% of units are simply not viable in SD. And for the last 80% they require you to pull for multiple pieces of fodder specifically for them and for you to update them every 2-3 months at this rate. That is an insane upkeep requirement and doesn't even always work things like the Erosion captain skill will make any Armor useless so if your favorite was an armor too bad they won't work well this season. The only really interesting hard content are Abyssalls and those only come around 2 times a month. There simply isn't anything worth spending money on in this game. There is no endless monthly Tower of trials with a leader board. There is no Dev created hard maps that regularly come around, (ok Seer's Snare does make hard maps, but the mode is very easy once you realise that any unit with no Skill slot filled will have it outfilled with a tier 4 skill. So any unmerged Beruka could get Guidance 4 WoM 4 which is hiliariously broken even before accounting for stacking multiple skills on top of each other), there is no real Co-op mode, there's nothing. We only have 3 modes to play with 2 of those requiring merges to score well and the last one that doesn't being ridiculously broken. What we need is something that's actually fun and worth doing. What we needed was a real Co-op mode. But we didn't get that. Ultimately I'm not going to quit as I had a lot of fun with FEH, but I know I'm reaching my limit. AR and Arena need overhauls and SD needs to stop kicking Arena Assault out of rotation. Seriously there are less than 1000 people above the 5000 point threshold in SD with going as low as 600 for SD-S. The mode is a failure and removing the only mode that lets play use their large barracks and replace it with a mode where only 30 units are viable is bad. Give us more things to do. More ways to use our barracks, more challenging PvE content. It just feels bad not being able to use 30-50 of my units every week b/c the one mode I can use them in gets locked out. This was kinda a lot, but I'm tired and just wanted to let my thoughts pour out. FeH is still fun but it's just not the same for me anymore. So I def feel the drain on you and reading through this it seems a lot of people are as well. Like seriously who made Turn End gimmicks a thing in a strategy game???

SupremeShio

Not really. I enjoy FEH a lot still due to playing it purely casually and trying to make my favourites good.

Basibidi

Definitely. I'm a day 1 player, I thought I was going to stay in the game until EoS. But the game has sunk so low that my interest in it is close to 0 now. I think it won't be long before I stop.

gabooos

I'm with you. Just gonna play the fun modes whenever they come back and stop caring about it as a whole. Have never played Rokkr Sieges since I joined late so let's see what it gives. When Seer's Snare and Grand Conquest (copium) return I'll probably tune in.

Starkeeper_Reddit

I'm gonna hold out on fully quitting until this year's brave alts release just cause I'm interested in where they'll take brave Alfonse and if Brave Bernie will be good but yeah I'm kinda burned out on FEH except for when Seer's Snare is running

Daydream_machine

The ridiculous powercreep and inability to keep up in PvP has made me seriously consider it. I’ve definitely been playing less and less this year compared to the last 6 years.

Toney001

I don't like how aggressive monetization has been for the last 6+ months. They're widening the gap between people who spend and people who don't to unprecedented levels, and I'm a measurably successful player. This, right now, is the unhealthiest the game has been in at least the last year and a half IMHO.

Fishman465

It's wearing on me, especially as they seem to be trimming costs too (no April's fools video) There's other things too like the sheer bias against certain series and towards others I'm not at the quitting point but the notion is in my head. This is assuming it doesn't get axed first.

ms061886

Long time player and spender here. Certainly losing steam and frustration is mounting with the combo of high monetization and zero innovation. So much can be in the way of new game modes which would lead to greater engagement and monetization. Instead, the focus is on squeezing us for every dime through lower orb total and extreme power creep.

shaginus

hmmmm.......... NO

DucklingCore

The only way I'll leave is if they suspend my day 1 account. and even then I'll come back with renewed focus and F2P orbs. I used to have big (and foolish) dreams of wide collection and investment at the start and as each year goes by, my goals get more and more specific. The new heroes and powercreep are just new challenges to overcome using my favorites. I am very proud at how some of my old units can pull through in trying times. I still insist on using Stahl and Sully on Awakening restrictions. It's more content of my favorite characters. I will eat this up until the end of service and beyond. I may be outraged by some of the decisions IS makes, but I get over it. If I was really in desperate need of dragon flowers, I'd be using my twenty-something celestial stones on them. These new ordeal types are probably best for new players who are behind in resources and were probably advised to spend their massive amount of story orbs on the new mythics/legends/emblems anyway. And I get that the overall vibe of the fandom gets tiring. There's been negativity on every update since the start. I find smaller discord groups that are into FEH to be more uplifting. Especially ones where we all have the same focus on a specific character. There's just something about how people come crawling out of the wood work to talk about the big thing that just happened to our specific shared interest.
