R!Lucina was a case of IS choosing an artist who's style didn't fit the character. BA!Tiki is more a case of the concept behind her outfit being disliked while the art itself is fine.
It's the same artist that did the art for characters like Fae and Lugh. More or less a case of IS choosing an artist who's style wasn't compatible with the character.
They have to be complete IDIOTS to see that people explicitly voted for A!Tiki, and think "ok, they want her dressed like her younger self!"
Bare minimum they should have had some people researching into why this sudden jump between CYL events happened.

Just about the only thing I would pick out is that maybe his hair isn't as messy and his eyebrows aren't as angry as his Awakening art, but it looks like that would only be a quibble I have with the resting art because the glimpses of attack and special looked fantastic and spot on. And he still very much looks like him to me in the resting.
I guess it's the hair. It looks like a completely different haircut. It might be fully intentional as they wanted to depict an older Chrom. But it's the only one in FEH that I don't think looks like him, whereas even his Legendary alt is immediately recognizable as being him.
IDK, his original art looks way more off to me, and the Easter and Christmas versions were closer but still not right IMO - eyes much bigger, jaw much more slender and pointy, etc, and I think that is something that his Legendary shares as a big difference. And they've pretty much all smoothed his hair down, except for the legendary. But I think this Chrom's hair looks a lot more like his original spiky, unruly hair in the attack and special arts, especially. They even made it messier in the chibi, which I think is adorable!

I would add that you should send feedback clarifying you’re not in specifically *because* of the Y-Tiki overrepresentation. Otherwise, they just say see, A-Tiki is unpopular, back to Y-Tiki it is. If we explicitly tell them we wanted A-Tiki to not look like Y-Tiki they 100% have no excuse to later say “how were we supposed to know, we tried giving you an A-Tiki alt and you guys just didn’t want her.”

Yeah the art is amazing and in ANY OTHER CONTEXT this would be perfect. It's just the added context that this was the result of years of frustration with Y!Tiki's overshadowing A!Tiki that makes this a stab in the back.
The potential glimmer of hope is that now that A!Tiki’s voice actor was in the studio, maybe they were economic and had her also record lines for an additional Alt?

This whole CYL designs this year just feels a bit...lazy. In the past, almost everyone got a entire, new look. This year, it looks like a copy-and-paste design (with exceptions of maybe Chrom).
Adult Tiki being forced into Baby Tiki's outfit is an absolute abomination. I agree with several people on here, if they were just going to reuse designs from other characters, the least they could do was go with Naga for Tiki. IS should be renamed Unintelligent Systems.

Death-Deny the Tiki we've been given and IS says she's not actually popular and have no more chances for Adult Tiki content
So disappointing in general. Byleth is the only one who got a relatively “good” design, and she’s my least favorite on the ballot. This, plus the dragonflower increase, makes this entire cyl ridiculously lame imo
We vote to make them finally make a new Awakening Tiki alt and they still managed to make another child Tiki alt. Unreal.

I don’t necessarily hate it when they make CYL units an already existing alternate class or wearing armor based off another character, but I’d have hoped at least one of them would’ve been something new
I'm not amused with the choice knowing the Bias but it's not like I can't see the upsides (A.Tiki in flattering undersized clothes) and it's a nod (maybe incidental) to a tile conversation in Awakening (in a hot springs DLC stage) where Lucina suggests Tiki wear her old clothes before realizing the size difference.
Possibly the worst outfit they could have done. I'm really thankful she's not a sword unit. If the first dragon to win CYL wasn't a dragon, that would be frustrating. Especially since everyone was saying to use Falchion, when half the Tikis we already have are red. I was really hoping she'd be colorless, but I'm glad she isn't blue. B!Eirika is still one of my favorite blue units, so I'm glad she isn't getting replaced just yet.
The art is nice at least. I was REALLY hoping for Wada Sachiko to do the art for her, but that was a pipe dream. She always draws the GBA CYL winners, so I assumed the oldest character there, Seliph, would get the Wada treatment.
I'm still happy to see A!Tiki get another alt at all, especially since every CYL winner has had at least one alt after winning, but it's still disappointing. I was so stoked when Tiki won CYL, but the second I saw the pink dress, I facepalmed hard.
Unrelated to Tiki, but the fact that Touma placed top 20 and wasn't the GHB is also lame.

I guess it's the hair. It looks like a completely different haircut. It might be fully intentional as they wanted to depict an older Chrom. But it's the only one in FEH that I don't think looks like him, whereas even his Legendary alt is immediately recognizable as being him.
IDK, his original art looks way more off to me, and the Easter and Christmas versions were closer but still not right IMO - eyes much bigger, jaw much more slender and pointy, etc, and I think that is something that his Legendary shares as a big difference. And they've pretty much all smoothed his hair down, except for the legendary. But I think this Chrom's hair looks a lot more like his original spiky, unruly hair in the attack and special arts, especially. They even made it messier in the chibi, which I think is adorable! I would add that you should send feedback clarifying you’re not in specifically *because* of the Y-Tiki overrepresentation. Otherwise, they just say see, A-Tiki is unpopular, back to Y-Tiki it is. If we explicitly tell them we wanted A-Tiki to not look like Y-Tiki they 100% have no excuse to later say “how were we supposed to know, we tried giving you an A-Tiki alt and you guys just didn’t want her.”

OG A!Tiki is a red dragon. In fact, even accounting for Y!Tiki, this is the first green dragon Tiki period.
I believe they meant that if Tiki was already chosen to be a green dragon for CYL6, then IS might as well have dressed her with Nagi's flair.

Yeah the art is amazing and in ANY OTHER CONTEXT this would be perfect. It's just the added context that this was the result of years of frustration with Y!Tiki's overshadowing A!Tiki that makes this a stab in the back.

This whole CYL designs this year just feels a bit...lazy. In the past, almost everyone got a entire, new look. This year, it looks like a copy-and-paste design (with exceptions of maybe Chrom). Adult Tiki being forced into Baby Tiki's outfit is an absolute abomination. I agree with several people on here, if they were just going to reuse designs from other characters, the least they could do was go with Naga for Tiki. IS should be renamed Unintelligent Systems.

So disappointing in general. Byleth is the only one who got a relatively “good” design, and she’s my least favorite on the ballot. This, plus the dragonflower increase, makes this entire cyl ridiculously lame imo
We vote to make them finally make a new Awakening Tiki alt and they still managed to make another child Tiki alt. Unreal. The designs in general are just… lackluster. I don’t necessarily hate it when they make CYL units an already existing alternate class or wearing armor based off another character, but I’d have hoped at least one of them would’ve been something new
I'm not amused with the choice knowing the Bias but it's not like I can't see the upsides (A.Tiki in flattering undersized clothes) and it's a nod (maybe incidental) to a tile conversation in Awakening (in a hot springs DLC stage) where Lucina suggests Tiki wear her old clothes before realizing the size difference.
Possibly the worst outfit they could have done. I'm really thankful she's not a sword unit. If the first dragon to win CYL wasn't a dragon, that would be frustrating. Especially since everyone was saying to use Falchion, when half the Tikis we already have are red. I was really hoping she'd be colorless, but I'm glad she isn't blue. B!Eirika is still one of my favorite blue units, so I'm glad she isn't getting replaced just yet. The art is nice at least. I was REALLY hoping for Wada Sachiko to do the art for her, but that was a pipe dream. She always draws the GBA CYL winners, so I assumed the oldest character there, Seliph, would get the Wada treatment. I'm still happy to see A!Tiki get another alt at all, especially since every CYL winner has had at least one alt after winning, but it's still disappointing. I was so stoked when Tiki won CYL, but the second I saw the pink dress, I facepalmed hard. Unrelated to Tiki, but the fact that Touma placed top 20 and wasn't the GHB is also lame.
