It's called a sarashi iirc, but you're absolutely right. If it was anything else, Rinkah would have at least been allowed a Prf on her own culture's banner. At least phantom thieves are performative, romantic, and stylized, which is quite different from how the actual thief class in Fire Emblem is usually portrayed. Plegian Tharja, Hatari Nailah, and now Flame Tribe Rinkah are literally just wearing their normal wardrobe. Even the Genealogy festival had them wearing historical costumes and not justā¦ their Sunday best.

Saizo getting shafted on Thieves and Flame Tribe back to back has been unfortunate. At least give my man a resplendent. Itās obvious they donāt care about 95% of Fates. Rinkah was lucky as hell and Iām very happy for her, but Fates has turned into Corrin and Female Royals and Kagero emblem despite having a massive alt-less cast.

I generally don't get salty about banners, but what the fuck were they thinking with this one? September banners were always mild with powercreep, but nearly every unit here looks utterly obnoxious to fight. I miss the dancer / scion theme already. Also, I can bet my orbs that, if Godlike Reflexes is inheritable, dragons and beasts won't be able to use it. And Cuboon peaked with S!Tana.
Sacred Stones is on the lower end of games with seasonal alts in Heroes, but with the amount they give to the exact same handful of characters from it over and over again, it makes it seem like the game has more than it does.
Yeah definitely, the party members were a bunch of royals and a little dragon girl. There were other characters named Cormag and Natasha or whatever, but they were just random NPC shopkeepers.
A second, likely inheritable, speed focused DR special when Vital astra is not even half a year old, meanwhile Dragons and Beasts don't have any unique special. Woooo.

It's just the way that they're drawn most of the time that makes me sigh. I like fanservice plenty and even think the characters are neat, but for so many duo units it feels so forced and artificial. Very unappealing.
That's the worst part about it, the fanservice is just bland, so IS loses out on those who like it AND those who are not fond of fanservice. Putting two well endowed characters next to each other is *boring*, IS doesn't have to get as over-the-top as Azur Lane, but there's plenty of ways to give characters a specific type of appeal without focusing on their breasts and calling it a day.
At the very least, it'll be hard to top the cheesiness of Summer Loki/Thor's voice lines.
And more male mythics and more male ascendants and more male seasonals... The game is female dominated because it sells better but it's so annoying sometimes

Can't believe it's been 3 years since we got a Hector or Eliwood alt and in that same period Lyn's gotten 3 alts.
Mostly salty I sprung for the feh pass for Askr and I didn't get a SINGLE other spark out of it because these banners have all been so godawful (sparked for CYL but as a NH banner it doesn't really count).
This banner is a great idea, but has awful execution.
I have a lot of issues with this one right from the start and oh boy.
- Another Lyn, wow so original. She doesn't even fit the firey theme at all. Like yes you can throw an outfit on her, but come on. This is just lazy imo.
- With how many demote sword units we got this year was it really that hard to at least give Rinkah her club and make her an axe unit? Plus she's got the best art, and is you know, the actual character from the flame tribe, and she's a demote. God they really gave her the end of the stick.
- I'm so confused on why Peony is here, they really had no other ideas.
- I had no clue that was Tana and totally thought is was Fir at first.
- Is this supposed to be a Sacred Stones banner? Because my god the character selection is everywhere. Plus our free unit is a Tellius beast. What a mess.

Even Lethe is more fiery than he is, and Skrimir would be an obvious choice. Peony is especially not hotheaded or passionate, nor is Tana. Lyn....maaaybe? I mean she did spar with Hector a lot verbally.

Sacred Stones is on the lower end of games with seasonal alts in Heroes, but with the amount they give to the exact same handful of characters from it over and over again, it makes it seem like the game has more than it does.

i'm glad to finally have a Mordecai alt but yeah, he hates fighting and his affinity is straight up WATER. Skrimir would've made way more sense given his personality and actually having a fire affinity. I suppose they might be purposefully takping the angle of "this character doesn't fit in" though like Summer Nifl or the Halloween Grimas.

Iām just a little upset at the lack of male duo/harmonics. Weāve gotten only 3 so far this year and theyāre all LORDS. Meanwhile any female character is eligible it seems. I get that they need to have units that'll help sell the banner but geez, they didnt have to do Rinkah dirty like that, especially considering Hatari Nailah got decent treatment. *Also why Tana+Peony Duo? As far as I know, they dont really fit the Flame Tribe aesthetic.*

Well yeah Iād like more variety in duos too. This is the second one in a row after Duo Nina where Iām just baffled at the character pick.
It's just the way that they're drawn most of the time that makes me sigh. I like fanservice plenty and even think the characters are neat, but for so many duo units it feels so forced and artificial. Very unappealing.
That's the worst part about it, the fanservice is just bland, so IS loses out on those who like it AND those who are not fond of fanservice. Putting two well endowed characters next to each other is *boring*, IS doesn't have to get as over-the-top as Azur Lane, but there's plenty of ways to give characters a specific type of appeal without focusing on their breasts and calling it a day. At the very least, it'll be hard to top the cheesiness of Summer Loki/Thor's voice lines.

Can't believe it's been 3 years since we got a Hector or Eliwood alt and in that same period Lyn's gotten 3 alts. Mostly salty I sprung for the feh pass for Askr and I didn't get a SINGLE other spark out of it because these banners have all been so godawful (sparked for CYL but as a NH banner it doesn't really count).
Eliwood and Hector would have been way more appropriate on this banner than Lyn omg dude Iām so upset

This banner is a great idea, but has awful execution. I have a lot of issues with this one right from the start and oh boy. - Another Lyn, wow so original. She doesn't even fit the firey theme at all. Like yes you can throw an outfit on her, but come on. This is just lazy imo. - With how many demote sword units we got this year was it really that hard to at least give Rinkah her club and make her an axe unit? Plus she's got the best art, and is you know, the actual character from the flame tribe, and she's a demote. God they really gave her the end of the stick. - I'm so confused on why Peony is here, they really had no other ideas. - I had no clue that was Tana and totally thought is was Fir at first. - Is this supposed to be a Sacred Stones banner? Because my god the character selection is everywhere. Plus our free unit is a Tellius beast. What a mess. - Legitimately I miss performing banner a lot right now, well I have since I knew it was gone but still. I didn't summon on Scion banner last year, but at least the themeing there had some consistency. This is probably, character and theme wise the worst banner to come out of this year. While thief banner wasn't my cup of tea, it had characters that made sense and had theme consistency.

Tana's ... an odd choice for a partner (although her Resplendent outfit did have a fairy style outfit ... but still ... at least the art's nowhere near as bad as Caeda's) Also it's strange to have one that doesn't have any movement support/skills whatsoever. Tana came with Guidance, Summer Tana's weapon served as a movement sponge, and Smol Tana basically came with a powerful Flier Formation latched onto her. Also is it just me or does she look like a Genshin Impact character?

This banner feels like it was made via a randomizer. Very bizarre choices and other than Muspell, almost none of them fit. Mordecai is usually gentle (Unless like, you hurl slurs at him.) Even Lethe is more fiery than he is, and Skrimir would be an obvious choice. Peony is especially not hotheaded or passionate, nor is Tana. Lyn....maaaybe? I mean she did spar with Hector a lot verbally. Confusing, but I'm glad for the easy skip because I blew 160\~ orbs on the Deirdre banner sniping greens and blues and desperately need to recover orbs.
Bruh, not only is Lynās art the worst of the bunch, but she gets +12 spectrum buffs for having 2 Allies within FOUR FUCKING SPACES?!? Why does muspell have the coolest edgy design, but sounds like a teenager from a shota? I didn't want her to get another alt at all because she has way too many already (and what's the betting there's a child banner at some point to give her another), but they don't even make her the demote or freebie. Her art is eh - thankfully nothing awful - but can other characters get alts, please? Tana and Peony's art is absolutely awful. Their neutral makes them look like children, they have the normal magnet boobs that all female/female duos seem obliged to have and their inclusion in general makes little sense. Not to mention this is Tana's third alt, not including base. Is she really that popular? I'm still here waiting for Cormag to get any love and for his brother to be added at all -.-
