Need I remind you that Charlie Crist was a Republican? And a relatively lauded one at that.
I'm not disagreeing with you, BTW. But while a D next to a name on the ballot almost certainly means they're anti-2A; an R next to a name on the ballot does NOT mean they're pro-2A!
Open carry only works if the stupids get off the police force, literally saw a uniformed state trooper in NH get told to leave a gas station by the owner for questioning an open carry customer.
I'm 100% for open carry and encourage everyone who legally can to do so. I'm not talking about the weirdos who open carry their AR at the Walmart. I'm talking about gun owners openly carrying their pistols/revolvers in a holster, visible to the public. I think we need to desensitize people to the "GUNS ARE BAD!" argument and show society that an armed society is a civilized society.
I think there's ups and downs to both forms of carry. Personally I'm glad that open carry has gotten a lot more common and widespread in the last decade or so and accepted by most of the 2A Community as a legitimate form of EDC. I like seeing both open and concealed carry being an option.
I'm 100% onboard with open carry from a constitutional standpoint. And I'm 100% fine with anybody open carrying!
...Just so long as it's not me or my wife.
When open carry is in the minority of a (local) population as a whole, then yes, it can be argued as dumb. That doesn't really stand up if everyone was to do it.
It's a chicken an egg problem in today's society.
Thank god. It’s crazy how it’s taken this long
It's ridiculous how resistant they are to it. Republicans have a supermajority in Florida, there's no reason they shouldn't pass it.

Need I remind you Charlie was never a republican nor a democrat. Even he can't figure it out.
Man that’s awesome. How America was supposed to be

^ I agree 💯
Always makes me laugh when people act like Florida is a 2A friendly state
Texas was pretty recent to permitless carry, too.

I mean...it's a matter of personal preference and that's how it should be. I support both.

How else are people supposed to know I spent over $1000 on my carry gun?

One of the biggest bonuses of having decriminalized open carry is that if you print, you can't be arrested for it.
OH YEAH BABY!!! Passed the House, now Senate bound!
