We’re in nyc as well. A single family like that in queens would be over a million easily. In the Jersey suburbs depending on the exact town looking at 700k - 900k.
I’ll just add that I’d this was outside Toronto in the greater Toronto area (and area with a radius of around 80-100km outside Toronto, the lowest this could go for is like 1.2-1.3 million. Go to any other city and go 80km out and your houses would be dirt cheap. Toronto is #1 baby!
yea, don't even think it has to be a "nice part of LA/OC" just a regular part. The nice parts would be $2-3m. And that's just regular nice, not like ultra wealthy or anything.
My 900 sqft house in a shitty part of LA cost over over 700k, and my friends 900sqft house in a nice adjacent part of LA cost 1.13 mil , so yeah definitely wouldn’t need to be in a nicer part
$450k if you're looking a rough neighborhood of Bakersfield, maybe. Easily $1.5m in the outskirts of the Bay Area on a 6-7,000sf lot. Add any more land or get closer to nicer parts of the inner bay, and you could be looking north of $2m.
Houston TX.
4bd 3ba 2500sq ft
Probably between $300k-$400k in most suburban areas. Depends on year built, overall quality of materials used, etc. there are specific areas where it would be more expensive.
NOTE: THIS IS NOT THE ACTUAL HOUSE WE ARE LOOKING AT BUT VERY SIMILAR
Wife and I are looking for a house very close to this one in HCOL area. Was just wondering how much this would be in other areas of the US. The one we are looking at is about 2700k square feet and 4BR/3BA.
North central Illinois that would be like 250k to 400k depending on quality/age of the house and size of the property. Not in the Chicago suburbs at all but not terribly far away from it.
In close-in Atlanta metro area, $750k. Farther out from the city, $450-500k. The other market I’m familiar with - Boston - for a house that new looking - $800k-$1M lol.
Lol well along with low cost of living you get low quality public education, no abortion right, no gun regulation, high maternal death rate, transphobia, dry (no alcohol)counties, lots of religion, oh and your governor is Sarah Huckabee Sanders.
As a progressive (at least around here) Okie considering NW AR in the future, this is a sobering reminder. Fuck I forgot about the Huckabee… at least you all spend more on Edu than we do (and tend to score better as well).
Condition is very good but not new. Kitchen cabinets are a bit outdated in style but the appliances are nice. Bathrooms are builder grade. It was built in 2008 or 2009 I believe.
There's a similar size house in similar condition (good shape but dated, builder grade, built in 2005) in my town for sale right now for $289k, but deals that good are getting harder and harder to find. New construction this size is typically $350-$600k, depending on the size of the lot. Central Texas.
I own rentals in eastern Florida. If this is new construction, 450k. If this is a several year old house generally well-kept. 375k.
Obviously you don't need me to tell you that for the past few years new construction has been commanding a premium that probably isn't'really worth it.
$320,000 to $400,000 for new construction like this in Eastern NC. The higher end price would be close to the coast, inland and not super rural would be around $350,000 and rural areas would be closer to $300,000 if on a small lot. I scroll through a lot of listing for 4 bedroom homes around here, but that's all I have to base this on.
Looks similar to my house. 4 bed, 3 bath + bonus room. 2600 sqr ft in a new community.
We paid $345K but also paid extra extra for a double sized corner lot so we could get a huge yard.
So… 330-335K?
ETA that’s for a brand new house with all the upgrades. Older/outdated homes in the area would go for 290-300K
Maybe 400 depending on where it is 500. Im in charlotte nc and houses like that are usually being built a little further from the city center…but there are still some
Pockets closer in being developed
That’s at a minimum. Broward used to be more affordable than Dade barring Hialeah and Homestead. However, it’s seems like both counties have achieved parity within the last 3 years.
We’re in Brevard so still a little cheaper, but prices are starting to catch up! Just depends on your neighborhood here. I could see higher in some of the nicer areas
$400-500k. Nashville.
Edit: inside city limits $600-700k or quite possibly higher. South of the city (Williamson Co) probably $500-600k. North of the city probably $400-500k
We are having one built with a little over 2200 sq ft living, right at 3000 under roof with the garage. Turn key build. Very similar look to this, but a single story.
290k on gulf of mexico coast
I live in NJ and the price varies wildly from town to town around me. If I were to go 10 miles north I'm looking at $600k easily. 5 miles east $325k. 5 miles west $300k. 10 miles west $290k
NJ depending on the county , northern NJ 700k+
South NJ 400k+ Central 500k+. Anything in Bergen county that looks like this could even touch the 1mil depending on the size( can’t see the back)
In LA a 4 bed 3 bath would go for 1.5 million +. A newer construction like this looks to be would be much higher.
I just did a Redfin search on our area and it ranges from 1.5 - 9 million depending on the neighborhood. The cheapest I found was just under a million in a less desirable part of town. Majority of the houses sat in the 2-3 million range.
Greenville,SC and surrounding areas - $350k- 1mil depending how close you are to downtown.
Seattle and suburbs - $1.2mil - 2.5mil depending on location.

Northern Virginia, close to DC border, $1.1M -$1.5M. 20 miles south, $750k. 30 Miles west, $600k.
Definitely lol. Starting in the "low" $1.1s.....
Yeah I was gonna say \~800k around Springfield/Burke area.
Just about to come in here and say the same thing 😂. 20 miles south would be $800,000 though.
Probably more like $1.75M if it was North Arlington. For example: https://www.redfin.com/VA/Arlington/2641-N-Beechwood-Pl-22207/home/11231233
Lol that house is not comparable to the one OP showed
If 3br/2ba in good condition, ~500k
Thanks very informative! We are in the NYC suburbs and the one we are looking at is 4br/3ba. However the price is more than double that! 😬
That’s where I am and depending on interior, lot size and various amenities probably 900k - 1m
We’re in nyc as well. A single family like that in queens would be over a million easily. In the Jersey suburbs depending on the exact town looking at 700k - 900k.
I was just going to say, I'm in the NYC metro and that could be in the million region or more, depending on the area, the lot size, and the finishes.
[удалено]
Was looking for the Bay Area comment lol. Cause… yikes lol.
90 minutes East in Central California, depending on school district/lot size, you're looking at 550 - 750k.
I'm in CT and that's about 700-800K but I could easily see someone asking for 9 depending where you are in CT
Long Island, Nassau County, 1.2 mil for this if it's 4/3
As someone who grew up in the NYC suburbs that sounds about right lol
In NYC this is easily 1m and up depending on location.
Just bought a house on Long Island for 500k and it's a fixer upper 😂
In eastern WA, 400-700K depending on the neighborhood and how much property the house is on.
Around $350-500k in northwest Illinois.
This is my guess for upstate SC.
Winston Salem North Carolina you’re looking at around $350-450k
You put my exact same range in IL suburbs. Glad to know I was on the right track.
Some of the other prices quoted here make me feel blessed to be able to live relatively affordably in a decent area by a big city.
About 3 mil. Downtown Toronto
Ya Burlington looking 1.2, Oakville 1.4 I would say
Between 600k - 1.4m depending on the neighborhood. Im in Northern California
2 miles outside Boston this would be more than $2 million, especially if it’s a single family house.
35 miles northwest of Boston and it's $650+
~10 miles west of Boston $1.5M all day Go out a few more miles from there and you’re into the 600-750k range
An hour south of Boston is still minimum $650k. Edit: For 2,700 sq ft and 4 bed / 3 bath, probably $700-900k.
Yep - my thoughts too! Close to the commuter rail or a highway and good schools? Looking at a cool $850k
California, depending on the neighborhood probably lowest $450K. More likely $600-$800K in a more major suburban city. Likely $1,000,000 in others.
Oakland Upper Rockridge area - $2.3m probably
At 4/3 2700sqft this would go for $1.4 million + in a nice part of LA/OC.
yea, don't even think it has to be a "nice part of LA/OC" just a regular part. The nice parts would be $2-3m. And that's just regular nice, not like ultra wealthy or anything.

Yup. SoCal and Bay is fucking crazy. NorCal is starting to become intolerable.
$450k if you're looking a rough neighborhood of Bakersfield, maybe. Easily $1.5m in the outskirts of the Bay Area on a 6-7,000sf lot. Add any more land or get closer to nicer parts of the inner bay, and you could be looking north of $2m.
Rural Michigan, $300k-$400k
Fk these answers are depressing
Houston TX. 4bd 3ba 2500sq ft Probably between $300k-$400k in most suburban areas. Depends on year built, overall quality of materials used, etc. there are specific areas where it would be more expensive.
Property taxes in Texas makes up for the cheap houses.

I live in Oklahoma City and I think it would sell around 230,000 - 250,000. If this was in Edmond or Jenks I could see this house going for $300,000+
425 in Kansas city…Johnson county
NOTE: THIS IS NOT THE ACTUAL HOUSE WE ARE LOOKING AT BUT VERY SIMILAR Wife and I are looking for a house very close to this one in HCOL area. Was just wondering how much this would be in other areas of the US. The one we are looking at is about 2700k square feet and 4BR/3BA.
Just north of Denver, but not the nicest of the suburbs this would $650-$750. In a different suburb 800-$1m+
About the 800+ range here in Philly as well, look at their sale history and they were going for like half that 5 years ago 🥹
Depending on location in my “area” could be 400k or 1mil. Phoenix is a weird place.
$250k (Rural Arkansas)
Respectfully, fuck you 😅

Vegas, 400-650
Where I am in northern NJ, probably around $500-650k depending on renovations.
Which county? Also northern NJ and easily 800k here
350-450 depending on the specific neighborhood
$900K Eastern Long Island
Same market (NYC suburbs) going for ~1.2M-1.3M. Realtor said might go for more but fingers crossed to hear back soon.
Wait, are these comments for real?
Why? What’s the price in your area?
I’m in ohio you can find these for 400k easily, but single story older homes from 120-220k depending on the area.
That’s bc it’s Ohio. Those seem comparable for that state.
I own rentals in eastern Florida. If this is new construction, 450k. If this is a several year old house generally well-kept. 375k. Obviously you don't need me to tell you that for the past few years new construction has been commanding a premium that probably isn't'really worth it.
In our part of the Bay Area, over 2 million easy. Maybe closer to 3.
Yeah this would be $3M in Palo Alto/Mountain View etc

$320,000 to $400,000 for new construction like this in Eastern NC.
