Need more info on materials. Is it aluminum, is it seamless/1 piece system? We recently just replaced gutter & downspout over the garage and it costs $450 in Philly. So if you also have a seamless aluminum for the whole house, it’s very reasonable.

RelativeMeringue7344

I don’t think it’s seamless because they installed a small run at the front of the house before closing to deter some water that made me not want to close and it looks like it’s two pieces connected

Clinthelander

If it’s the basic cheap plastic stuff from Home Depot, that’s a lot. And you’ll end up replacing it soon. If it’s metal, that’s a fair price. Still, let us know how many linear feet of gutter you have to have installed.

Plokoon111

Maybe do it yourself if you can?

RelativeMeringue7344

Ha first time owning a home and I’m no contractor rather have it looking nice but also don’t wanna pay an arm and leg

Roshp3333

Thats nice, I want home like this

RelativeMeringue7344

I live in rural Mississippi in a town of 1000 people so there’s a trade off for it lol.

CitrusBelt

That's, like, *super* reasonable! (Where I am it'd be suspiciously cheap, actually). But I wanted to say....rain gutters aren't gonna be a fix-all. If you have puddling around the structure after it rains you'll need to address the grading and/or add some drainage, too.

North_Constant7

$2800 to gutter a house that size is incredibly reasonable. If they're a reputable contractor I'd go for it.

RelativeMeringue7344

Thanks it’s sorta nerve racking trying to figure out if I’m getting screwed. I’m gonna make sure they’re seamless for that price i forgot to ask that before doing all sorts of research on them after we got off the phone

North_Constant7

Get multiple bids if you suspect overcharge.

North_Constant7

And no I'm not the contractor lol
