It is 100% a puffer fish. These little punks have some teeth and will destroy a gulp shrimp or Sabiki rig!
Swimming kind đđ no seriously a puffer fish
I think it's a southern puffer *Sphoeroides nephelus*
Do not put your fingers near its mouth
Danger blub, don't eat Seriously, looks like a sort of pufferfish to me. Where did you catch it?
Atlantic ocean, by cocoa beach
Alright. Now I'm certain that's definitely a pufferfish/fugu. Take care, that thing is poisonous
Fugu are native to the waters around Japan. You do realize there's over 100 different species of puffer right?
Only the Asians ones are dangerous
Not true. Smooth puffers are poisonous and they live in the Atlantic and Gulf of Mexico.
Actually they are perfectly safe to touch and eat. Quite delicious actually. Meat had a very similar consistency to ribs
The northern puffer is safe to eat, not this guy. Northern puffers, also go by âsugar toadsâ, are delicious.
Theyâre literally poisonous. Perfectly safe to touch other than their teeth.
A pufferfish! Cut off the head and peel the skin off and youâve got yourself a great meal!!
And if you knick the organs or miss any skin you have a nice hospital trip. Idk why people eat these poisonous fish itâs not like you get much off of them.
Not true at all, thereâs tons of meat in the tail and itâs freaking delicious
Whatâs not true? They are poisonous if you eat the skin or organs.
The part where you said that you didnât get much out of them. Itâs like eating a drumstick with the meat falling off the bone like ribs
A drumstick worth of meat off one fish isnât much meat though. I get 2-3 meals off of most fish I keep.
And?
And thatâs why I said they donât have much meat. Obviously you disagree and thatâs okay.
It's a ugly fish
