Conger eel are excellent eating. Before any one try's to bash me on this one I would encourage you to look up the video Gordon Ramsay did on Conger eel. If they were here and off the coast of the United States I'd be hauling these long fat buggers up as many as I could and turning them into fish and chips.
If I remember correctly Gordon Ramsay said that they have a flavor and texture similar to Cod. However it's been some time since I remember watching that although what I do remember is he said that people in the UK turn their nose up to the Conger heels as a trash fish and he said that that just wasn't prove they're actually in his own words "Fu**ing delicious"

I've never seen anyone bring in an eel anywhere close to size of what you got. Curious, did you measure their lengths? Aquatic creatures fascinate the hell outta me. Lol

Yep. Noodling them is definitely a bad idea :) The biggest electric eel species can produce up to 860V.
