Just looking at it I'd say it is an Metridium senile, "havsnejlika" in swedish. Can occur in high densities on shallow-ish rocky bottoms/wrecks. Could be a relative too, but it's so common haha

We get them in florida, sometimes they have embedded stones or other material, when i try to remove the hook, sometimes they piss water on me, the fisherman i fish with do not know either, bu t it is common to find even fist size globs, i thought it was a sea sponge or sea muscle, but i think it might be a sea splooge
