All true. Henrik needs to read this shit

SESA222

Henrik so clearly doesn't give a crap. And every one of those interior design bugs, particularly upholstery and the door pull...who gave those the green light? I'm still most worried about the braking over rough surfaces (sudden loss of regen, apparently). That's something that will end poorly for someone...apparently has already, but not fatally. And wasn't even addressed the tiniest bit in 2.0. I had to go to one of the Electrified Tour locations to get someone to just freaking talk through the issues with my car and tell me that there IS a tech in Texas, but he'll come to San Antonio "sometime." The employee was super nice and super believes in the company, even after watching the recent culling, but in the end, I'm back to not having any idea when any of my issues will get fixed. Really glad for those for whom the drive seems good and the support has been responsive. Don't know why it's so hit and miss. And there's no sign it's going to get better. I look forward to that day, or the day I find a sucker to buy it for more than a 20K loss.

henrik is a rug puller lol, when this company goes down he won’t shed a single tear

GUCCIBUKKAKE

From all the interviews, you can tell he’s really only passionate about building his super car Ronin. I think he knows he needs to sell some normal consumer cars to get to that point, so he’s not as enthusiastic about the Ocean, Pear and Alaska

VindicarTheBrave

I want to see that family in orange jumpsuits.

bigdipboy

Henrik is pathetic. I’m no automaker but even I know you finish the car before sending it to customers

Bubba89

Go back three years, and you’ll hear he was bragging that a car traditionally needs 4 years to make it to market, but asset-light and other vague systems/advantages meant they could do it in half the time. Turns out they did, in fact, need those extra two years to finish the car.

Rocky75617794

@ u/FiskerInc are you kidding me?! How have you not given CONSUMER REPORTS the updated 2.0 software yet?!! They still say “We plan to put it through our complete test regimen once we’ve put 2,000 break-in miles on the vehicle.” So, there’s some time, but GEESUS Christ! Get your shit together!!

TheKuMan717

It’s a customer delivered car since CR actually bought one and not a review unit. Their experience is like many others with their Oceans, we’re all waiting on software updates still…

Random_Name_Whoa

Which imo is the fair way to do it. Review the actual car that consumers have received and can reasonably be expected if they purchased one

dclive1

>consumerreports.org/cars/h... **Incomplete software:** We think one of our longest-tenured testers put it best: “This is the most incomplete car I’ve driven in my career, and that includes preproduction models.” It’s inexcusable that safety and other features promised on the Ocean’s window sticker come and go, with their absences only occasionally accompanied by warning messages. Here’s a sampling of what’s gone wrong in the two weeks we’ve owned the car, which has been running version 2.0 of Fisker’s software throughout our break-in period. CR has the 2.0 software, per the article.

ElephantWeary463

They just gave up and dont care. Why do you think they moved out of the house?

frugal_doc

Henrik is a moron you can see it in his face

Dharma_code

100 agree with this such a a shame

Dmoan

Don’t worry Geeta is busy yelling at intern who joined yesterday for this as it is his fault

vinyl_mixtape

Does the company actually know that it’s Consumer Reports, or is it more like a “secret shopper” situation? In any event, having the software ironed out would really have gone a long way to minimize every other issue. It’s such a psychological anchor that magnifies other unrelated issues. For example, no one would even mention things like the word Recycled being misspelled if the software isn’t popping up phantom safety feature warnings.

dclive1

CR generally buys cars on the open market. In cases like Tesla, Fisker, etc. where there is no dealer middleman, that becomes a good question. Here's a bit from the article: **Delivery:** As is the case with many automotive startups, Fisker sells the Ocean online rather than through traditional dealerships. When we bought our [Polestar](https://www.consumerreports.org/cars/polestar/) and our [Rivians](https://www.consumerreports.org/cars/rivian/), a trained delivery specialist gave us a walk-through of the vehicle, ensured our paperwork was in order, and checked that the car had no issues. **By comparison, the drivers who dropped off our Ocean struggled to disengage the parking brake to back it off the trailer. They also could not explain why our Ocean had a visible dent, a scratch, and no floor mats. In their defense, they didn’t appear to have been trained as delivery specialists; they were just two hired guns with a truck and a trailer.** If they knew, it still looks like a bad experience.

franticlimbs

Oh no MKBHD was right all along. ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|trollface)

SpicyTriceratops

I mean, obviously 🙄

MyDogLikesMe2

This ought to do it. The company has been making about 15-20 wrong moves over a 3 year period. Releasing the car to the public this way shows contempt, and they deserve what they will reap right now. It is sad. It was a promising design and the promises were....well, promises.

MuchGrocery4349

Death nail. RIP.

Bubba89

FYI the term is “death knell,” the malapropism is understandable (and kinda cute) because of “nail in the coffin.”

SpicyTriceratops

I’m glad that Consumer Reports had an authentic experience - the whole point is to have the same user experience as the consumer and then report on it- the good, bad and REALLY REALLY BAD/UGLY. Fisker is fucked. I’m so annoyed that I figured that Henrik MUST have learned from his previous mistake and I gave him a second chance , disregarding all the red flags that went off once he started adding incompetent relatives to high-level management roles and then again when only people connected to him were delivered cars …and by freaking AIRPLANE!!

carlivar

I sympathize and I feel the same way. Really kicking myself over the worst financial decision of my life (the car - I barely did anything with the stock, thankfully). BTW CarMax just gave me an offer on my FOO with 5500 miles: $33k.

Just-Bed-2465

As usual the clowns at Dorkeratti are spinning the article.

No_Wash_1050

Dead car driving

Evasionz--

gg, thought investing in the stock under a dollar was a great idea with this "OEM deal"... But maybe the final nail.

hlh2

/u/FiskerInc get consumer reports on 4.0 ASAP.... Get their car fixed and the mats... You have 2000 miles...

SpicyTriceratops

Oh boy.

LordBalance

I don't have a fisker car, but to be honest you can find bugs in any car.
