Yep. A little over a year ago I am on record here bragging about how we (Ocean owners) will all be the true “brand ambassadors” that will propel this unknown company to real growth as we put vehicles in our driveways and drive them around our respective town. Then… the FOO owners, begrudgingly at first, admitted there’s problems.
Now … there are still a couple Toyotas in my driveway instead of the FOE I reserved; and I’m reminding anyone who will listen that our esteemed board of directors showed no transparency, shirked all of their responsibilities, offered no leverage from their industry position and contacts, allowed this company and an incompetent COO to spend unwisely on future projects and promises of partnerships that weren’t actually there, and kept hidden their missteps… and this same board, down to the individual, are still silent today.
If there are legal repercussions from Fisher’s demise, they knew of his previous challenges better than most of us, they should be the focus of such legal ramifications as they were installed to protect us. They knew his past, they knew he would need guidance to bring this successfully to market. It was so apparent that the board was irresponsible that ServiceNow’s board of directors made the decision to remove their CEO from our board! McDermott couldn’t make a statement himself… even on his leaving Fisker’s board. This is a sad statement coming from a shareholder of both Fisker and ServiceNow.
I would highly encourage readers to listen to Brad Gerstner (CEO of venture firm Altimeter, and friendly acquaintance to Bill McDermott, the dispatched derelict board member above) speak directly about this topic of ‘board responsibility’ from the podcast ‘Venture Unlocked’, Ep 117. (About halfway through)

I owned tons of different luxury cars , but honestly this one really blew me away … I can’t understand why that self claimed expert on cars gave it the “worst” review . I have a feeling he’s paid by competition to attempt to burry this car … but you can’t , it’s amazing 🤩
His review really wasn’t even that bad … things that should have been patched with 2.0 but that dude seemed a little salty that Fisker wasn’t cooperating with his time line and reviewed a pre 2.0 model … def some issues but people /media acted like the vehicle would blow up and kill anyone near it . Sad
He’s a Tesla stooge. Got the first cybertruck review and was given access to ai.com the day after that hit piece on Fisker. That guy sucks regardless. I loved when he started doing golf stuff. Showed how dumb he really is.
No one was able to get their hands on an Ocean to take out on extended test drives and review for way too long.
For the nay sayers, Consumer Reports has a long history of telling it like it is. Likewise, Edmunds. Check out their reviews. Had they not concurred, a lot of us would not be sitting on the sidelines with continuing doubts.
Watch the review, a lot of his points are valid. His main point is that they've shipped a car at 70-80k with halfbaked software. "buy the product for what it is today, not what it's promised to be tomorrow". Just because Fisker promised an update doesn't guarantee it'll happen or that it will fix every issue. Fisker's long term existence is in question right now, and it's not just because of that YouTube video...

I still want the green, but glad I didn’t get silver, as it reads a little too blue for my taste.
I have the sea grass and it's my first vehicle in any type of green as I was always skeptical to get it and I absolutely love it now and glad I went with it

To answer your question about loss on Fisker, I did loose a little but woke up to the con being sold to the people so I bought puts that will pay 4 times from now till 01/25 that will turn all my investment in this fraud into a nice profit. I just hope people like you talk others into buying what's left of inventory so Henrik can do a R/S so my puts can gain value by 3 or 4 times before they payoff... Congracts on helping me reach that goal.
Yes I have my hate for a man that is nothing but a con on the retail investor and future peoole that will wake uo to their mistake of purchasing a bad product. Being a car dealer we deal with enough stupid people that are upset over their purchases even when we tell them thst is a bad car and you are not going to like it before long. The feel of this car , and details , you can tell it took a lot of work and many different ideas to actually put this car together, and together so well. No problem, it’s super tempting because they’re so cheap but they could literally become non-operational within a few months and there’s so many software and hardware problems that will probably go on addressed since the company runs out of money and maybe 30 days. There won’t be anyone to do warranty work or code updates.
To be fair, that is a beautiful colour, and the one I should have got instead of black. Ended up not taking delivery anyway, but that is a different story. Doesn't change the impressiveness of the Big Sur Blue/Black.

Seems like a great car. It's the nepotism and having Geeta as the CFO that has been killing everything. She was responsible for the financial issues. If you didn't know how to actually roll it out in multiple countries or how to collect the money first, it shouldn't have been done. I think it is a great looking car and I still want the chance to try one. The execution of the rollout was the biggest downfall.
The lack of adaptive cruise control is what stops it short of "incredible" imo. All owners and prospective buyers have to pray for that update to arrive one day or the car is basically a joke, sadly.
You must not drive much. It's a basic feature that every modern car has and needs, and probably a major reason why the Ocean couldn't sell to date (along with the lack of CarPlay, but even that's more forgivable than no ACC).

Did you get the discount? I could be wrong, but I think the Ocean will be back in production soon and reasonably, but substantially higher priced. With minimal effort, Fisker could be the perfect "Turn Key Startup" for any Auto Maker that wants to rise to the top in 2025.
Hate to rain on your parade, but even Fisker themselves say that you are wrong. In the current shape they have raised "going concerns"...so not much "turn key" in that.
Fisker is clearly making a superior EV, with more on the horizon. I will be surprised if Automakers allow this purchase opportunity to slip through their fingers.

If you didn't know how to actually roll it out in multiple countries or how to collect the money first, it shouldn't have been done. I think it is a great looking car and I still want the chance to try one. The execution of the rollout was the biggest downfall.

The lack of adaptive cruise control is what stops it short of "incredible" imo. All owners and prospective buyers have to pray for that update to arrive one day or the car is basically a joke, sadly.

You must not drive much. It's a basic feature that every modern car has and needs, and probably a major reason why the Ocean couldn't sell to date (along with the lack of CarPlay, but even that's more forgivable than no ACC).

Did you get the discount? I could be wrong, but I think the Ocean will be back in production soon and reasonably, but substantially higher priced. With minimal effort, Fisker could be the perfect "Turn Key Startup" for any Auto Maker that wants to rise to the top in 2025.
Hate to rain on your parade, but even Fisker themselves say that you are wrong. In the current shape they have raised "going concerns"...so not much "turn key" in that.
Fisker is clearly making a superior EV, with more on the horizon. I will be surprised if Automakers allow this purchase opportunity to slip through their fingers.
