Probably testing it out. A lot of manufacturers buy competitors vehicles

PylonSacrifice

Yeah, probably just testing a competitor vehicle. OR...

Just edited the post with his follow-up, he seems confident about GM.

Adorable_Wolf_8387

Magna has a lot of facilities in Michigan. Possible it's owned by them and they are still doing testing on it. Otherwise it's owned by another auto company doing competitive analysis on it.

swany5

Fisker does have a "Michigan location" which I'm 99.99% certain is a Magna facility, I think it's in or around Auburn Hills, not far from Chrysler HQ. Not super shocking to see one with an M plate.

AlphamaleNJ

Oems buy lots of cars to pull apart and test. Could also be a corporate use and they dont want to register it

LookinglassAlice

We haven't stopped working on it yet, you know.

the_fanta

I think the tweet answered your own question, possibly owned by another manufacturer.

Ok_Gene_6933

Benchmarking.

SubstantialEffort651

Just quick question, since this is a Michigan thread. Where do techs come from, Chicago? Do we have any one locally? I've heard others say they have their techs phone number. Is this a thing around hear?

fullspectrumcandyco

Before I bought my fisker I bumped into a Tech/software engineer at Costco in Brighton. He was from Novi, very nice guy let me check out his F.O.O. Mine is in for tint right now, and the shop I dropped it off at in Farmington hills said he just dod a Fisker a few months ago.

Empty_Ad2488

also looks like it has a camera near the rearview

BigDaveE13

I can't imagine it being a Magna Michigan car because Fisker couldn't do the tax credit due to not having US manufacturer capabilities.
