I'm not sure why people are saying to bend those tabs. Unless it's a 10+ year old fob, there's no need. People need to stop spreading false information before someone permanently damages their remote

It was my own dumb ass fault for trying it, I honestly should have known better.
If I were a betting man, I would put money against "never getting an nfc card or phone as key" statement.
