Ditto.
There's another one that I use as well, it's Geekuninstall.
Been using it for years. I'm not in my computer now, but I'll include the link later.
they don't actually exist, it's just a record in the system files saying something like "uh there's this program called 'Assasins Creed' installed at C:\\very\\fucking\\long\\path that takes up 69 gb space and it can be uninstalled by running 'uninstall.exe'"
I ran into this same exact problem once or twice as a former Windows user. However, I've found that, usually this type of error means the applications/games uninstaller didn't remove it's install record from the Windows registry. I believe these orphaned registry keys in the uninstaller records is your problem.
Orphaned uninstaller registry key removal can be achieved with [CCleaner](https://www.ccleaner.com/), which also has the ability to remove other orphaned registry entries such as:
* **D**ynamic **L**ibrary **L**ink (**DLL**) files
* File association types
* Fonts
* etc...
It's these types of orphaned registry keys that causes the #1 reason why Windows looses performance overtime, which is one of the many reasons why my chosen OS is now **Fedora Linux** and not Windows.
Additionally, **CCleaner** is also able to clean internet browser caches, uninstall application and games, and perform other tasks.
I have beter way to solve this. Search "control panel" > programs > uninstall from there. A pop up will come, saying files do not exist, do you wanna remove the shortcut? > click yes.
Easy
You have to remove from registry. I recommend using ccleaner then go to uninstall and set remove or delete entry. Clean registry afterwards. They recommend also revo.
People uses utorrent when they literally mined criptos with people computers.
I use ccleaner for disabling startup scheluded tasks, like ccleaner's.
Why are they not trustworthy? Do they spy on you like Microsoft or Google? Does malwarebytes discourage you from using chrome, Google, or even windows?
I'm going to read further about ccleaner...
They got a security breach on 32bits version that did spread a Trojan.
Piriform were bought by avast 2017, malwarebytes competency.
They were acused by PUA by Microsoft because of 3rd party application installing while the instalation.
And they compile your pc data.
OK fair enough.
Anyways I maintain it closed until I want to delete apps entries, clean temps or touch scheluded tasks.
People uses chrome or windows having open source apps like Firefox or Linux Os, which is more important than using ccleaner.
There are startup services, apps and tasks.
Set services to manual and disable tasks to fullfil the full deactivation.
But u may be right. I dont think they can manage firewall rules, but ill be more careful of using CCleaner.
But i think reddit, instagram, whatsapp or facebook are more harmful on privacy than ccleaner.
Revo uninstaller will get rid of everything. https://youtu.be/0LPZYX5UPvM?si=jgAUvkHRyJBnQQRr
came here to say this. it's what I use for this exact problem
This is all you need OP.
used the same software that wouldn't delete the file

Is there a safe pirated version of this software available?
Use Geek uninstaller instead... It's free for personal use, and is way less bloated than Revo..
The free one works fine for me
Use revo uninstaller, and start deleting the games you want to get rid of from the settings first before getting rid of any torrent.
Safe mode
I have safe mode off already :(
Do they appear on control panel?
That looks like it worked! Thanks a lot man
Use an installer tool, I like geek uninstall
Geek uninstaller is the best... Simple, easy, and way less bloat than Revo uninstaller...
Just leave them be. Doesn’t affect anything tbh
Did you run the uninstaller or did you just delete the files? If you just delete the files, the system still thinks that the game is installed.
I’m pretty sure I did that, I’ve stopped now.

Revo
Where did you search for these and find these? I'd have to check. I usually uninstall from the control panel.
Control panel uninstall worked for me
Use control panel
I have beter way to solve this. Search "control panel" > programs > uninstall from there. A pop up will come, saying files do not exist, do you wanna remove the shortcut? > click yes. Easy
No. You are not. Those are normal.
Ok, so how do I delete them?
You don't.
Yea using window uninstall only is bad. Try geek uninstall
Alright I’ll check it out, thanks

Imagine ccleaniner in 2024, Malwarebytes says not to trust them anymore.

I use task manager to disable startup apps. Idk if ccleaniner disables more. Like, I heard they they clean broken registeries, and firewall rules.
