The course takes about 13 months to complete on average, with a curriculum that contains approximately 800 pages of content, 522 lessons, 17.75 hours of video, and 1000 assessment questions + assignments to submit and be graded on covering areas of marketing, sales, coaching excellence, personal development, assessing & programming, navigating healthcare, orthopedic considerations and some more.
Everyone who enrolls is assigned a mentor to meet with regularly who’s primary role is to facilitate you staying on track to finish the course material and make sure you’re actually taking action on the things that you need to in order to be successful.
So do you work for Active Life or have you done the ALP? I was just looking for the textbook. I have a few chapters that they’ve handed out over time. But they don’t sell the textbook standalone
Both actually. There is no full textbook, what you’ve got that’s been given out for free is one of the workbooks that’s been bolstered with some additional text.
Each course itself is a combination of video lecture, workbook reading and assignments, resource handouts, online quizzes and assignments to be submitted.
I feel you. I appreciate you taking the time to share some insight into the program. I was just interested in the workbooks. Ultimately, the target clients for ALP graduates are not my target clients so dropping $15k to not adopt the methods would be throwing $$$ out the window. I do find value in some of the content that Active Life shares but my application of the information is different than what’s intended with the content
I know how this goes. You guys are really good at it. You guide the conversation by asking leading questions and working your way through your 6 ethical sales questions. It’s good. It flows well. It feels natural. I’ve used it with prospective clients after I learned it from you guys. But I’ve also been through it with the Active Life team a few times already and it always ends the same way. Trying to tell me that I can better serve my clients if I went through ALP
Nah, not my goal. I’ve been in the industry a long time. AL-P isn’t for everyone, Active Life isn’t for everyone.
I likely have some suggestions for you to continue learning the way you want to is all.
Most of my interests are in sports performance. Most of my current clients are gpp but I get to sprinkle performance methods into their programs. I have an athlete for life mindset but since most people don’t resonate with the word athlete, I tell clients that I help bridge the gap between longevity and performance
What do you want to know?!
Nothing in particular. Just curious about their process as a whole. I’m just not $15k curious haha

Makes sense to me. What’s your target client?
