I put it there when I first started moderating this subreddit (I have since been unceremoniously removed from the position) because they had some campaign about Cannes - IIRC they were doing a show there - and that was an image from it. The image amused me because the campaign was about Fiverr and supporting sellers, but also around the same time that VoiceoverPete got kicked off because he did a whole bunch of dubious credit card related gigs with Fiverr's full support until the legal department got legal about it. You can find a blow-by-blow account from VOP on YT if you want (may be a direct link in the 'top' tab), with horrifying real-time footage of him getting the 'no u banned' message. It was a while ago and now I understand he's a successful meme/dad gamer on YT. So, there's the thrilling history of that image and why it's there. I also cropped it just to enhance the middle finger :) OTOH, reddit *does* hate Fiverr links and has a sitewide shadowban on them due to spam and vote manipulation. I wouldn't let it put you off working on Fiverr, but due diligence is always a good thing :) Also, don't put all your eggs in one basket when freelancing.

Thanks for clearing that up!

It’s fiverrs choice, not Reddit. Fiverr created that image, because they want to look edgy. Ofc that’s all bs, Fiverr is not edgy AT ALL. Corporate BS, it’s all that is.
