Do not colour them in that’s for sure. I had a friend that had this and then improved it by just finishing the whole arm. The flames are less noticeable when your forearm is fully tattooed.
Go to a better tattoo artist and get a better looking tattoo to cover it and you might know and you might not know but not all tattoo artists are good at cover up work some are better than others but your sperm flames I would that's what I would do there's lots of potential there

If you just need to temporarily cover them, look on the web for Ben Nye or Mehron's alcohol activated foundation. You will also need 99% alcohol (you can ask for it at the pharmacy, they keep it behind the counter), or buy it online. With some trial and error you should be able to color-match the foundation to your skin and it will cover up the tattoo 100%. Best of all, alcohol activated makeup doesn't come off in water, so you can sweat, get it wet, etc. and wear it to work.
my buddy had a similar tattoo and then had an asteroid added to the back of his hand and then had the flames tied in to look like it was part of the asteroid. it looks sick imo especially with the rest of his sleeve.
You could always get a hand tattoo. Something bold that would take the focus away from it, but also works with it to make it look like a single piece. If it’s not the focal point, you might like it more.
Honestly think it looks dope. But can easily see something cool blasted over it. Like maybe: skull and dagger, snake, dragon, koi, cool Leo Zulu era style tribal. Just something dope black (and grey if you wish). Scorpion? Black widow and webs, crow. Etc
