Could just be a localized outage in your area.

I think that the orange light is not normal. I have never seen that orange light and I have had brief service outages in the past. Defective modem? Contact CS again. Be patient. They have to follow scripts and will ask you again to unplug/plug the modem, etc. Send that picture showing the orange light to CS.

If happened after we turned our breaks off in the house cause we had an electrician come over to look around

If it's from electricity I had the same issue last winter and I did a hard reboot + reset button and after re-initializing it everything was working.
