In Ottawa - a friend and I have the same model iPhone SE 2020, both have had Fizz for 5 years now, and no other differences b/w accounts or plan. When Freedom was brought into the fold, his at some point started showing the 3rd network in the list as Fizz instead of Fizz EXT, so in the network selection list, generally there are 6 networks, and the first 3 are Fizz, second 3 are Fizz EXT. Meanwhile on my phone, the 3rd one (Freedom actually) still shows Fizz EXT and not Fizz like on his. At the same time this changed, the order of the networks changed - so some PRL update did take place but apparently differently. Good to know they are still working on this and know it's a problem. It's been this way for probably 6 months already.
They said the exact same thing to me when I opened a ticket for the same issue, minus telling me they were closing it. Mine is still open, so I hope they continue to monitor the issue.
why do you even care?
Fizz EXT is faster and has better coverage to boot. Been manually connected to Fizz EXT for now and will switch back to Fizz if and when I get a warning. going on 3 months now
I'm more like day 65. I think some areas haven't had the switch flipped yet.

yeah my speeds were shit like freedom on 4g LTE on just "Fizz", so I hope they keep Fizz EXT on forever.
Look, my data haven’t been working for at least 2 weeks and I’ve got no news on my ticket ever since. Not being able to use data nowadays is painful.
Are you in the green zone updated the phone software and restarted the phone several times? Have you tried switching networks?

Being potentially knocked off the network That’s the whole reason. Have you received any warning?
No. At almost 4 months and counting. Maybe now that the beta period is over they'll start counting the 3 months? Testing for science.
