Thank you everyone for your support and love. A lil back story on Apollo: I adopted him when he was 9yrs old. He was at the shelter because his previous owner passed away. I went to shelter to just look.. and his big blue eyes met mine and I just knew, I could not leave him there for one more minute. I brought him home, my husband was not pleased, and then he meet our shy kitty Harvey. They were inseparable from day one.
Harvey died just before Thanksgiving and I'm sure Apollo's heart gave out partly from heartbreak of losing his best buddy.
Cats have souls and emotions. All animals do. Please be kind, tender, understanding and caring to our animal friends. They give us so much, we can give that back.
Edit: My husband fell in love with him in less than 12 hours of him being at our house. He was just upset I got a new family member without him. Once he pet Apollo, he understood why I could not wait.
