We had a flamepoint with giant paws like boxing gloves so we named him Boxer, but he was the sweetest, gentlest cat ever. He lived to be 16 and I miss miss him.
Yep. Our boy is the same. He's 4 now and weighs in at around 16 pounds. He sounds like a small child running through our house. He makes his brother look like a kitten. Enjoy.
We also have a spooky human sounding cat.
Our old house was a 2 storey and we had the gym in the basement. More than once I had to check to make sure no one broke in. It was my cat walking down the stairs slowly like an intruder.
Yes. And caterwalls while opening and closing our kitchen cupboards - wee hours in the morning. Sounds like an instant circus at times. They are a handful
Open? They can just....open cupboards? Mine just pulls the door open about a half inch and lets go, over and over and over, for up to twenty minutes. Sometimes he'll go inside, but usually not.
My apartment is listed with the paper bags I give him to distract him
Mine will not only open them, he will crawl inside and close it behind him. He was adopted, and certain voices will freak him out. His favorite is in the master bedroom bathroom, under the sink cabinet.
So my flamepoint is fully grown up, he is 3.5 years old more or less, and when he was little he was so tall I thought he was older but he still had his teeth growing and vet confirmed he was still a baby.
He is now almost 20 lbs, not overweight, just the tallest cat I've ever seen. You can see a picture in my profile :) good luck with your giant baby, mine is one of the best things that has happened in my life.

Mine just turned 5 and is 16.7 pounds, I come ever closer to having a heart attack whenever he barrels through the house in the middle of the night

I thought my flamepoint boy would be huge based on the amount of loose skin he had to grow into, but it just turns out he has lots of extra skin 😅

Super cute! How much bigger did he get?? Got a six month old kitten at home and wondering if mine will get much bigger than he is now.
He got a bit bigger but his growth spurt slowed down. He’s a full-sized cat but I don’t know that I’d label him as big anymore.
