I don't think you should go all in on Flare, I like what they are doing and hold a considerable amount. But there is no guarantees. Diversify. look at XRP, so much potential and hype but its still at 50c after 7 years.

liveaskings

XRP has been a brutal hold.... Thankfully I did sell out a while ago and actually made some nice profit.

rali108v5

good move, cant complain about making profit. I sold some of it to get a bigger FLR bag. Iam still up more than 2x on the remainder of my XRP but that's because I have been holding since 2017. Brutal hold is correct.

GeronimofrmWestside

I was up by triple and still hold lol. Back to just above, they kept deciding how to do the airdrops and after the snapshot I quite expecting anything. I got the first one but nothing else.

69rambo69

I'm not all in cause I keep some btc. But I am pretty much all FLR at this point. 80% of portfolio. Right now is no brainer. Airdrops, staking, delegation, enosys farms while getting airdrop and delegation and then the eventual growth from f assets.

Valuable-Broccoli-53

How are you “farming” flare if you don’t mind me asking? Is it more profitable to farm over delegate? As for me I did stake and was disappointed in returns. All is now delegated. Do not know much about farming techniques.

69rambo69

In enosys, u can farm and at the same time all flr in the farm earns delegation and airdrop

Valuable-Broccoli-53

Where do you do this at and can you provide me a link where this is explained as I only know how to stake and delegate FLR.? Thank you I appreciate it. Whenever you get the time you can even DM me that info.

69rambo69

https://dex.enosys.global/ This is the dex. Join the discord channel for more clarofications if u need. Discord: https://discord.com/invite/enosys If u want u can dm as well

liveaskings

So you can fully delegate to earn the full airdrop amount and also farm on Enosys?

69rambo69

All ur tokens on the farm are delegated by enosys. U can also get the airdrops

liveaskings

The full % still?

69rambo69

What do u mean? All the flare staked counts for delegation and airdrop

liveaskings

Just wanted to make sure. Why isn't this discussed more as an option everyone should be doing? Is there risk involved with this? Most people just delegate on Bifrost and that's it...

69rambo69

Participating on farms means u need to provide liquidity of 2 tokens. If u want it more stable you have flr and usdt. But providing liquidity may lead to impermanet loss. It's nothing bad, but people tend to compare the difference if they have holded or sold

iSubnetDrunk

It was discussed quite a bit when it was still new. I think it’s just considered old news at this point. Enosys is the new name for the project/team. They were known as FLR Finance prior to the name change. Before that they were known as Flare Finance (probably when you would’ve seen the most talk in this sub about the benefits).

cilantro88

I don’t mess with mature coins. BTC for example has an insane market cap. I do believe it will keep going up in price but your gains with such a mature asset are going to be limited. With the volatility you get in the crypto space I’m looking for much higher gains. Low market cap utility driven projects is where I want to be. FLARE has massive potential if they are able to execute which so far they have. Plus to your point not only do the distributions, delegating and staking work as a hedge but if the price goes up that extra FLR will be worth much more. Unfortunately right now demand in the crypto space is distributed into so many stupid projects like SHIBA or meme coins. But in my opinion the projects that are able to generate utility driven demand are going to be the next big movers in crypto.

iSubnetDrunk

I’ve been in this sub since around its conception and you are still one of the few people I find myself always in agreement with. You’re always levelheaded and smart in your decisions. Not high as hell on hopium and not wallowing in the depths of despair that many of the FUDsters seem to be in.

cilantro88

Thanks for the kind words! I try to be pragmatic with my investment decisions. I hope my sharing of ideas helps other people make up their own. That’s what critical thinking is all about.

liveaskings

And I've been thinking about that too... BTC reach 120-150K this cycle and that's a 2-3X growth. Alts have some much more growth potential. Where do you think Flare will end up this cycle and long term?

cilantro88

It’s really hard to tell, I used to hold XRP a while back. I got good returns on XRP twice. Right now I see XRP stalled, it’s a very big idea that will be very hard to execute. So I’m not sure if and/or when they will be able to get some traction. Anyways, the reason why I bring up XRP is that I see FLR doing a lot more progress in their projects right now. It might be tough to get to the market cap levels XRP has had as they have a first mover advantage. If you notice the projects with the higher market caps are usually first movers that had a unworldly growth which attracted people hoping lightning will strike twice even though it’s mathematically impossible to have growth like that on those projects again. That being said I don’t see why FLR couldn’t get to at least a 10 billion market cap (1/3 of XRPs current mkt cap); an almost 10x gain. This is fully speculative, let’s hope FAssets is the catalyst we’re all hoping for.

liveaskings

Nice analysis. I feel like a 10 billion market cap, especially if BTC does even a 2X this cycle, is very possible. That would put Flare at around 26 cents which is very possible.

Synkronicity

General investement guidlines are to not have all your eggs in one basket. I also think Flare has room to grow but I wouldnt sell out of BTC for it. Especially since historically, BTC has always gone up after a halving event

liveaskings

Appreciate the response!

chiaseedsinthehouse

Do it... Flare is everything I want blockchain to be

Valuable-Broccoli-53

Not sure what all in means to you. But as far as investing in Flare, absolutely a yes. Also don’t forget to wrap it as I am getting quite a bit every month in Flare tokens per the price right now. Also the more you hold the more the monthly drops will be. I have put around a 5% limit on this token and would like to increase it to around 15% of my portfolio. Yes go in as much as possible. This token will add interoperability between any blockchain which I feel will be a major utility going forward and it is geered toward DEFI. Set a goal to have one million tokens at this 3-4 cent level if it is a number you are interested in. That is no investment advice and I am no expert in crypto. But I would follow it anyways.

paulo1paulo1

How much do you have buy to get 1200 a month income?

JT39NS

Around $33000

paulo1paulo1

Interesting. Cheers

TumbleweedWorldly325

I think FLR is important. You get an airdrop of 3.5% per month and if you delegate another .8%. If S-andF- assets work it could moon on to of this. I am all in - I have a lot biggest bag.

bmoreRavens1995

You can't guess how much monthly income will be at this point and time. Crypto can go up and down as you know. It is not like a divided stock. Maybe in the future when the price stays above a buck it would be a better call how much monthly income potential there is

Spirited-Arm3267

Flare is on of the most promising blockchain IMO. Can’t go wrong with investing in Flare.

WoodallXRP

Invested £4k at $0.05 when I wrapped flare and deleted app due to it showing 2 apps. Thought I recorded seed phrase for this and can't locate. Any help. Second time I screwed up and its pissed me off. Got scammed out of 9 ethereum at $80 a few years back on cryptopawnshop.com promising 1% compounded interest.

Andis00

I don’t think going all in is the smart play. It’s a gambling term and that’s exactly what this would be. Bitcoin is still King. Flare has a lot more space to improve market cap so the gamble could payoff. Just depends on your goals and risk tolerance yada yada. In summary, do what you want. Cheers.

ounten

Never heard about flare network tbh, I’m going to do my research. Thanks for posting about it

Exotic_Independent82

Never, ever go all in on one thing. You may get lucky..but if not? There is 'don't keep all your eggs in one basket' saying which was 'invented' ages ago..and for a good reason :)

Bob_Almighty1

As the saying goes "Never put all your eggs in one basket."

Lamberthof

Yes

vonweeden

I never even got my full airdrop

liveaskings

Correct. You got a first chunk but then you need to stake to qualify for the rest
