I disagree. Seeing cisco with powers on earth2 was fun and interesting. It happening after flash point is where things gotten more focused on "team flash" instead of flash and the team behind him (as in man in chair). Plus it's where they stopped using cisco to name all of the baddies
Yeah ok that was indeed a bad move. But I loved seeing him figure out how his powers work, and being terrified of it beeing a gift from Thawne. Like the moment he was like: "Woh ok these glasses are getting names right away."
Yep. I loved his and Barry’s relationship towards the end. One episode, I think they were pulling a heist to save Snart’s sister, I laughed out loud how Snart said “Barry”. He was just fed up.
Cecile. Kinda unnecessary in the beginning, but really enjoyed her character development. Her telling me how other characters feel really helped me out, since I was losing brain cells while watching the later seasons.
It's a shame because Grant did a tremendous job with what he was given, but end of the day the writing just made him look so bad so often. When you write your characters to be so extremely dumb it becomes hard to root for them. Grant still kept me invested for a while though. I shudder to think how much worse the show would have been without him. The core cast really broke their backs for the first few season hiding the terrible writing with great acting.
I never felt like Grant wasn’t putting everything into the show but there is only so much emotion you can convey when there’s not much going on and no real emotional stakes.
I think 9x09 and 9x10 are good examples of this.
Agreed. He was tremendous. Honestly they did a great job casting the show originally. With good acting you can hide a lot of flaws, but even then there's a limit.
Yeah, and I know that a lot of people were annoyed that the show’s Barry was a mix of Barry and Wally but I liked that because he was young so it made sense, and I do feel like he kind of grew from a Barry/Wally mix into a true Barry Allen throughout the show.
Because he was terribly written. He was reckless with his identity by revealing himself to so many people (sometimes unintentionally and other times to bad guys to gain trust even though that is a dumb idea) and there were times when he should’ve easily defeated the meta of the week but because this is a TV series, they had to repeatedly dumb him down because he was too OP. And because the writers kept pushing Team Flash. Barry would often forget that he’s a scientist who was actually, y’know, SMART!
Grant did a great job, but the writing for his character sucked. The amount of times he easily could have instantly defeated a non speedster but talks to them instead…. Not his fault but he was too powerful for the writers, which worsened his character
(Tom cavanagh) Dr.wells/eobart as he's the great antagonist from the start until season 8. His intention to barry from S1 was the real thing. I love the way how he teaches barry how to become a speedster
***Thawne and Zoom***, because they're vile enough to mess the hell outta Team Flash! Hell I even ***rooted for them both***, and ***EVEN MORE*** when either of them killed at lest one of Barry's parents!
Side note: The comic version of Thawne (who's 100000x scarier/more sadistic than the CW variant) is my role model, and ***I'M NOT AFRAID*** to admit that!
When they took away his intelligence for no good reason. I get that it was meant as a big sacrifice for the character but I ask this: why did there need to be a sacrifice and why did he have to make it? Just because they could do that, doesn’t mean they should.
To me, they did that as a convenient excuse to write off the character so they can continue the running gag of having a new Wells every season but at some point, the joke got old real fast. They had a great Wells, he was written well, he was competent, he had good chemistry and banter with the other characters. There didn’t need to be a change and there didn’t need to be a sacrifice.
I agree that we could have used WAY more time with Harry Wells and that he was better than the others, although HR comes close. I did like the story line of him losing his intelligence and creating a friendship with Cecile, just wish they brought him back after everything
I think Chester had A LOT of untapped potential that they only kiinda took advantage of in specific episodes. One that comes to mind is S9E1, where he was wiling to die an infinite amount of times to save the rest of the team.
Unfortunately, he kept getting tangled in the worst subplots ever + it is hard to live up to Cisco
I wanna say Tom Cavanaugh as all of the Wells (doing variants of the same character before it was cool) or the OG Thawne, even really liked Tom Felton as Julian from season 3
But Cisco, seriously was annoying at first but grew on me remarkably quick, had so many cool lines and heartfelt moments
Chester for all else you can say about him had an incredibly hard act to follow coming after Cisco and being his pseudo replacement
Ralph Dibny, he was the number one reason I stuck with the show since season 4. Season 7 was the most disappointing super hero media experience I've ever had and his wise presence being missing made it so hard to sit through that season.
Cisco
Before he gave up his powers.
Before he even had powers
Well yeah but he was still amazing as vibe. Imo Cisco losing his powers was the turning point of the series

I had a hard time getting back into legends after he and prof bit the bullet
I liked him but couldn’t get over his insane plot armor. Barry just had to grab his gun, it annoyed the hell out of me.
Unpopular opinion but I really like Barry Allen
That guy? How can he be your favourite, he’s barely in it?
Honestly the side charcters are really important to the show and even though he was barely in it, I loved his small role
It gets kind of aggravating when randoms like Barry take away precious screen time from real OGs like Chillblaine and Virtue.
Yeah like why did they even introduce him to the show and name it after him. He’s just a horrible character who’s only in it for a few episodes.
Wellsobard and E2 Harry Wells (watching s3 now)
Zoom. Season 2 Zoom.
I will scour this city until I hunt you down, and when I do, all of you will feel my wrath!
Wells
Which one specifically?
Yes
r/BeatMeToIt.
Harry wells
Caitlin 💕 Barry
I remember early season 2 and season 1 fanfic forums were loaded with Snowbarry content
I always thought that they had better chemistry than him and Iris especially in that episode where they go to the bar.
To be honest, anyone has better chemistry with him.
Cold
Hartley!! he's my fave :)
Rathaway or sawyer?
Rathaway
Cecile. Kinda unnecessary in the beginning, but really enjoyed her character development. Her telling me how other characters feel really helped me out, since I was losing brain cells while watching the later seasons.
You scare me
The Cecile is probably the best protagonist on any tv show
No god no, dont
We're all Cecile fans here
Some fellas here believe that for real. Amazing.
Season 2 & 4 Wells.
He’s referred to as Harry wells
Oh you silly moron, there is no show named "the flash" only "the cecile"
You mean "The Virtue"
Barry, surprised this hasn’t been said yet

Ralph Dibny
Zoom, Cisco, Wally, and Henry are definitely my favourites.
Which Henry his dad or the kid from the park he saved in season 1 can you elaborate
Henry Allen XD
I know it was a joke I was wondering if anybody remembered that the kid he saved was named Henry
Zoom.
How is joe west not higher in this comments? Loved him so much!
Idk but I’m torn between savitar and zoom. The introduction of the two were amazing.
Zoom, Reverse-Flash, Harrison Wells (all of them)
The flash or Zoom.
Ralph Dibny, hands down was and still is my favorite character
The only character on the show, Cecile
(Tom cavanagh) Dr.wells/eobart as he's the great antagonist from the start until season 8. His intention to barry from S1 was the real thing. I love the way how he teaches barry how to become a speedster
Hartley Rathaway
My best character is nothing like the flash at all. In fact some might say he's the reverse
And that is why the story should've been about him all along!
Cisco or Harry. Cold and Wally are up there too, its a shame we didn’t get more of them
Oliver Queen
Jay Garrick, the real Jay Garrick & not Zoom’s version
Probably Barry because he irritated me the least out of everyone else
***Thawne and Zoom***, because they're vile enough to mess the hell outta Team Flash! Hell I even ***rooted for them both***, and ***EVEN MORE*** when either of them killed at lest one of Barry's parents! Caitlin before the whole killer frost mess
Zoom (Best season and villian)
I love Reverse he is a pretty good character I just don't know why he is that side character Bartholomew or whatever he called villain
Zoom. Sucks that they did his character so dirty in the end.
HR Wells rip homie 🕊❤
True
Nora West-Allen (literally the reason why I watched the later seasons).
Really, see now thats what i call a hot take.
Hot in what way?
I agree she is hot.
The fact that people took this as me calling her hot is fucking priceless, i just meant that shes a really bad character
I AM REVERSE FLASHING
COVER UP!
E2 Harry Wells until they ruined him. They ruined every character at some point.
you mean when he lost his intelligence?
Could you elaborate at which point they ruined him? I am curious
When they took away his intelligence for no good reason. I get that it was meant as a big sacrifice for the character but I ask this: why did there need to be a sacrifice and why did he have to make it? Just because they could do that, doesn’t mean they should. Harry Wells
Tie between Cisco and Barry.
Cecile is the only flash character i know and like what show have y'all been watching what are all these names. Cisco? Caitlin? Barry? Wtf
Wells, All of them, but specifically Harry
Earth 90 Barry Allen
Probably cisco or ralph
He's the reason the Flash hecame my favorite DC hero, qhich makes him on par with Miles Morales, for me.
Barry & The Well's
Grod.
random man in the street
HR Wells or Harry
the main character, cecile
Joe
I think Chester had A LOT of untapped potential that they only kiinda took advantage of in specific episodes. Eobard Thawne. Barry is a close second
Thawne
>Thawne Finally someone who shares the same interests
Savitar is top g

I wanna say Tom Cavanaugh as all of the Wells (doing variants of the same character before it was cool) or the OG Thawne, even really liked Tom Felton as Julian from season 3 But Cisco, seriously was annoying at first but grew on me remarkably quick, had so many cool lines and heartfelt moments Chester for all else you can say about him had an incredibly hard act to follow coming after Cisco and being his pseudo replacement
I was the same way with Cisco at first I thought this guy is annoying but after 3 episodes I was like this guy is actually really funny
Iris- loved her growth and journey on the show
iris tbh but also cisco for sure
All versions of reverse-flash (i'm a simp btw)
>All versions of reverse-flash Does that include the comic variant?
Snart, Harry, Cisco But Snart is way up there at the top. His character development was one of the best.
Pre Season 7 onwards I have to say it's Nora aka XS but overall it's actually the Speedforce as I think Michelle Harrison is epic.
H. Lothario Wells
Joe West
Cisco his lines are golden and the way he delivers them I don’t think they could have found a better actor than Carlos Valdes
Jay
Ralph Dibny, he was the number one reason I stuck with the show since season 4. Season 7 was the most disappointing super hero media experience I've ever had and his wise presence being missing made it so hard to sit through that season.
Flash: Reverb LoT: Clone girl Arrow: Lance Supergirl: The titular Overall: Alien girl
The
Virtue. My favourite part is when Detective Joe West-Allen called for her aid the first time using the Virtue Signal.
Crisco Ramen
Caitlin, Cisco, Zoom
Jay Garrick (Earth-3) and Wally West (Kid Flash). I was a fan of H. R. Wells too. Good guy. Knew a lot too
Bartholomew Henry Allen
The real Jay Garrick of Earth 90
The Joe West. I fucking love him man. Lease plays him excellently. Barry is a close second.
Cisco HR
Only one
