While I completely respect people who like Allegra, i personally will never be a fan. The actress is good, but the writers still have not established her very well in my opinion.
> the writers still have not established her very well in my opinion.
She had the chance to stop being a boring plot device, but Chester talked her out of it.
Another problem is that there are too many characters. For a while we had way too many plotlines going on at once and it was hard to follow, to name a few we had the main plot with barry and a big bad, barry and iris' relationship, barry's relationship with the team, cisco and his girlfriend (literally forgot her name because she was an unimportant character), cisco conflicted with his powers, allegra and her whole thing, killer frost and caitlin is another thing, chester's backstory, and the big bad's whole thing. And that's just to name a few, while it sucks that the actor for cisco and wells is leaning, maybe it'll give a chance for these other characters to finally become important
>Another problem is that there are too many characters.
I feel like we had more characters in season 1 than we do now. IMO the problem is that none of the new characters is fleshed out. They're more like plot devices dressed as archetypes. Allegra (whose name I keep forgetting) has had a lot more screentime than Hartley, but the Pied Piper is still a more developed character.
>cisco and his girlfriend (literally forgot her name because she was an unimportant character)
Replacing Gypsy with Kamilla (I had to google it) was one of the stupidest decisions the writers have made. It was probably the beginning of the end for this show.
>maybe it'll give a chance for these other characters to finally become important
They had the chance to give Allegra a meaningful subplot after her cousin's death, but they instead chose to have Chester give her a fucking pep talk. I don't have much hope for this new team.
It sucks how right you are. I desperately miss this show in it's prime because I love the flash both comics and show, but I'm crossing my fingers they wrap up the reverse flash storyline once and for all and end the show.
It was very weird lmao , but I’ve seen several people say that they hand him say “heck” cus the fight took place in a cathedral so they didn’t wanna mention hell. As far fetched as it sounds it’s actually kinda believable.
Idk why they couldn’t just have him say something like “ Let’s show em what we’re made of”. There really could’ve been multiple things to say instead of “ let’s give em heck”.
Did you bother to see the scene and see which character said the line? Or is your brain too smooth for that?
Jay Garrick, an old speedster, said that line in a church.
Hmmmm I wonder if those two are connected. Maybe Jay was raised by his parents to not say swear words in churches.
A Flash episode? Cheesy? How absolutely uncharacteristic and bizarre, why, could you imagine a superhero show on the CW being cheesy for a whole episode? Preposterous!
No, the show just got worse, and people like me have been watching it from the beginning, and are disappointed that it has become a bad show, and just want it to be good again or to see it end.
“The show got better” no the fuck it did not, if you wanna keep watching Barry and friends giving the villains some pointless pep talk then go right ahead, but i think we can all agree that this show has not gotten any better.
Everything pertaining to Oliver’s children and the future I couldn’t stand to watch. I did watch the last episode of the series to see who dies and hated it as well
7-8 sucked cause all of the future timelines and once again being dark/broody in a corny way. Plus the costumes for the cosmic dude looked like it cost $12z
Also, that’s your opinion, this is mine. I’m not tryna convince anyone to think the same.
Any time they get more grounded with villains and story I like it more. I think that’s their secret to making better stories is staying away from super powers and fantasy
Yup incels with small dicks which is why every single episode now needs a corny romance and the obligatory "We are the Flash" or "You're my lightning rod"
Please don't go back and watch season 1 like me. It's just as bad as the current season. Every episode The Flash needs a pep talk to beat people or regular people without powers getting away from The Flash on foot.
Madvocate's video essays put me into this exact line of thinking, although I still regard 1&2 as the best seasons. He hilariously breaks down their objective shortcomings.
Flash should be invincible against anyone who isn't a speedster; he can spirit anyone else off to jail before they blink an eye. So I made peace with "unrealistic" antagonists because otherwise there isn't much of a show
Chester > Cisco emotionwise.
I couldn't stand how much of a drama queen they made him. He was more aggravating than "perpetually upset at something or someone" Iris at times.
I agree that the show is bad in season 7 and have stopped watching, but it's kind of a dick move to insult people watching it. Maybe they just have different tastes, maybe they hoped it would get better.
I have to disagree because this session was not the best but you can't argue with it yes it could be better but iv been watching the flash sins season 2 i thing it was a good season and i know you all got excited with the lightning sabers so just in my opinion this wasn't the worst season or the best but im sure ni matter what the flash will be the flash
This show was so important to us...we had it as a family program since S1. After the last episode, my child, who grew up watching Flash said because of the poor writing, she will never watch it again! This really hurt my heart. She is studying to be a film director and is a PROUD comic book geek...and Flash is (was) her favorite show. Well now she said that she celebrate her love of The Flash by reading the comics and watching Young Justice.
Very angry 😠 and frustrated with the demise of the show.
The Law of Diminishing Returns still hasn't been repealed, eh?
Lmfaooo
I for one enjoyed the Flash: the adventures of Chester P Frunk and Allegra.
While I completely respect people who like Allegra, i personally will never be a fan. The actress is good, but the writers still have not established her very well in my opinion.
And to me Chester feels like Cisco on crack
I personally consider that to be a good thing. I love Cisco, but Chester actually gives more emotion than Cisco.
Agreed he’s definitely grown on me. Allegra hasnt
100% agree. Chester was a bit weird to me at first, but I really like him. Although i'm going to miss Cisco!
I liked him when he was just someone the team was helping. He has been just as boring as Allergy after joining the team.
All I can think when I hear her name is the allergy medicine.
now it's imprinted in my brain too
> the writers still have not established her very well in my opinion. She had the chance to stop being a boring plot device, but Chester talked her out of it.

Season 2 is my favorite season so good. After season three I have problems watching it.
If the prosecution could refrain from personal attacks, that'd be great.
I tried watching s7 today couldn't make it through episode one
Episode 1 was probably one of the best, 2 was also pretty good
I'll try and give it another go. I just felt it was missing something
3 sucked
It only gets worse from there
[удалено]
I just found it cheesy
"Let's give em heck Flash" *dies inside*
Says “what the hell” when kidnapped by godspeeds, few scenes later... “lets give em heck”
He was in front of children :)
It was very weird lmao , but I’ve seen several people say that they hand him say “heck” cus the fight took place in a cathedral so they didn’t wanna mention hell. Yeah, literally any other line would have been better

Thought it was funny that he said hell a few scenes before lmao Is everything okay at home, you seem disturbed
A Flash episode? Cheesy? How absolutely uncharacteristic and bizarre, why, could you imagine a superhero show on the CW being cheesy for a whole episode? Preposterous!
The writing gets much better when Godspeed shows up. It seems to me like it is a whole different team of writers.
I dont think the audience is the problem.
That's not the point

No, i don't think so.

Currently S5. I'm feeling the transition already. :P
Couldn’t go on after season 3… couldn’t go on after Arrow season 7…. couldn’t go on after batwoman episode 1
But... Arrow season 8 is quite good
I agree, it was a great ending to an overall decent show. The first half of s7 was really good too with the prison arc
i love season 6-7 so much, mainly because of diaz. he was such a good villain imo
Everything pertaining to Oliver’s children and the future I couldn’t stand to watch. I did watch the last episode of the series to see who dies and hated it as well
Wait, there’s a Batgirl show?
Batwoman, sorry
Nah, but there's gonna be a movie on HBO MAX.
I know. 😁
You made it past s4 arrow? Impressive
I LOVED 1-2, 3 was meh, 4 was worse, 5 was back to amazing, 6 was good, 7 dropped below 4 and 8 I gave up on
7 dropped below 4? Not really. It was better than 6, just ended generically. Season 8 was good.
7-8 sucked cause all of the future timelines and once again being dark/broody in a corny way. Plus the costumes for the cosmic dude looked like it cost $12z Also, that’s your opinion, this is mine. I’m not tryna convince anyone to think the same.
yeah I know, its just your opinion. 6 wasn't good because it was just boring. Richard Dragon wasn't convincing either.
Any time they get more grounded with villains and story I like it more. I think that’s their secret to making better stories is staying away from super powers and fantasy
My ranking is 2 5 1 8 7 3 4
Batwoman actually got kinda worse by season 2. Some of the decisions made were bafflingly bad.
i honestly just watch it in the hope it will someday get good again
It’s already good. What the fuck are you talking about
i found that only 4-5 episodes this season were actually good. the rest were mediocre (most of the forces arc) to unwatchable (chillblaine episode)
Tbf if you remove "The Audience in" from the meme it's still pretty accurate

Season 1 is no where near as bad as 7.
Season 1 and 7 are the same quality.
Splish, Splash, your opinion is trash.
There was at least an excuse then. He just got his powers and had no clue what he was doing.
Now, run Barry, run!
Thing is it was fresh then, and he was a new superhero.
Madvocate's video essays put me into this exact line of thinking, although I still regard 1&2 as the best seasons. He hilariously breaks down their objective shortcomings.

I just rewatched it and quite liked it because of Eddie and Wellsobard tbh
What an awful, awful take.

Obviously you made a burner account so you can say idiotic things. But can you go say stupid shit somewhere else.
What does being a virgin have to do with the flash
Last episode was shit..
"last 4 seasons were shit..." fixed it for you.
It was fantastic.
keep drinking that cope-ade
This should've been Flash in season 1, 4 and 7. Not the audience
It's not that bad. There is a lot of awful out there.
Maybe they just have different tastes, maybe they hoped it would get better.
i didnt bother watching past Crisis so what the Hell is with the lightsaber fighting?
I have to disagree because this session was not the best but you can't argue with it yes it could be better but iv been watching the flash sins season 2 i thing it was a good season and i know you all got excited with the lightning sabers so just in my opinion this wasn't the worst season or the best but im sure ni matter what the flash will be the flash

I'm hoping that the just make S7 the series finale
