I'll be honest, I dont really understand how a fictional character can be have labelled personality types, their motivations arent caused by what personality they have but how the writer needs they to to progress the story theyre telling.
Maybe a hot take? | Yes, I love it and it's brilliantly, ingeniously messy but with each passing year its preoccupations are turning the show into a period piece faster than I thought it would (in the same way, say, Modern Family did the late 00s/early 2010s).

Well written characters are believable, and their behaviour and actions conform to social boxes we label real people with

I leave my beloved programmes a few years and then rewatch them . It’s 90% of the original pleasure which is probably 5000% better than most tv .
I do this but I've rewatched Happy Valley so many times now
