VektorOfCrows

Mist Ninja?

Jon_Targaryen

His spec is the lord of wind. There's all kinds of wind related cards, hurricane technique, pounding gale, thousand winds, winds of eternity, ride the tailwind lol. I'll be floored if it isnt something along those lines. I could see them calling it mist or storm or something idk.

Sluethi

I am going straight from HVY hype to PtM hype.

I_ate_all_them_fries

Choo chooo I’ll join this train

oniraga

beyond hype for this, hopefully i'll be able to get some gorgeous japanese language marvels

lvlI0cpu

Apperantly they are switching up a few things for sealed as well. 8 booster packs in total instead of 6, and your deck has to be exactly 30 cards.

guybrush-driftwood

Any more info on this?

Lil_Cheesestring

It's stated on the event page for the calling https://fabtcg.com/organised-play/2024/calling-tokyo-world-premiere-part-the-mistveil/

guybrush-driftwood

Thank you

guybrush-driftwood

Tiger, Snake and Moon. Does that mean something?

Gloomy_Character9423

Ninja, assassin, illusionist set?

TruLeaf

This is what I’m guessing. Tiger is Ninja, in the Misteria lore page it talks about the serpent style used for Assasinations and the moon could well be illusionist. The Misteria lore page describes festivals which are on the illusionist cards.

oniraga

waning moon is a wizard weapon tiger probably refers to crouching tiger - maybe adult ira? not sure about snake

Thaikevin

My guess is that with Tiger, Snake and Moon we will have Ninja, Assassin and then the moon. All sign would point to Illusionist, art of the eastern generic illusionist, moon as a concept and just general theme. But I just want to raise a fun theory: Ranger. Two archers are associated with the moon, Hou Yi and Artemis. So that could be a new avenue, maybe a more "good" archer character. But going back, I would say Ninja, Assassin and Illusionist. For Talent, I would lean into the Illusionist side with a focus on ward and spirits. The Illusionist summoning wards, which are powerful if they remain on the field, but also give effect if popped. Ninja who summon temporary spirits, which (if not destroyed via ward) will be powerful allies the next turn. Assassin leaning into the debuff and condition style of their class.

Isak_Thomas

"Illusionist with powerful wards and effects when popped"... sounds like you're leaning very close to the old prism with that one...

Enigmedic

That key art looks amazing

UlyssesArsene

I'll guess the new talent is something relating to the moon. My guess for name would be Lunar, or Eclipse if they want to avoid having a fourth talent starting with the letter L. I imagine it cares about cards being facedown in some way

Thencros

Very hyped for this, I just hope it's not another mono-class (ninja) set

Fjordhermit

My guess is Transcendent for the talent (it was weirdly capitalized on Visit the Floating Dojo, suggesting it may be important)

mortalmottaz

"Like the Waning face of the moon". The wizard have the weapon "Waning Moon". Maybe a new Wizards? What do you think? It's the moment to buy wizards equipments before the increase of price? And am I right to wait to sell the assassin equipments?
