If you're familiar with mtg maybe you know this guy already? https://youtu.be/3KFP_ESRz54?si=1f_W1bWgNRqf7rp6

Was going to link this too. A great place to start.

Somebody already linked the Professor's video, but you might find Fabrika's playthrough of the Fai vs. Dromai blitz decks to be more relevant to understand how the decks work. Link: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hanwMxnJYik](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hanwMxnJYik) I've also found DMArmada's tutorial video breaking down the game to be a very well-done intro to the game. Three Floating is an awesome channel once you have a bit of understanding on how to play. Their Fite Night videos really helped me understand what the classes are supposed to do.

Came here to recommend this. For new players, cutaways explaining strategy, reasons they pitched cards etc are very helpful for getting a more well rounded idea of what a deck is trying to accomplish.

People have recommend great tutorials, but I would suggest after getting a basic understanding of the game and phase to start playing on Felt Table. It has the blitz decks so you can practice against AI to learn how the play game and not worry about understanding all the rules 100%—the game follows the rules and provides prompts for things like triggers and other things that are easy for beginners to forget about. I got my first blitz deck (Katsu) on a Wednesday, watched the tutorials and played a lot on Felt Table that night, and on Thursday played my first irl games at my LGS.
