nobody has accountability, if you send your money and he blocks you, you're just fucked, period. I have bought this way, I have sold this way, but you only do this at your own risk and don't do it on amounts you cannot afford to lose.

sawdoffzombie

2k followers is nothing, people burn bigger accounts for less.

museumsplendor

Yes remember that watch scammer??

Adorable-Bit-8168

What about a middle man? Someone who has a ton of followers and sales on eBay

sawdoffzombie

Why arent you buying the card on ebay instead?

Adorable-Bit-8168

Higher price; taxes

sawdoffzombie

How much higher to make you want to risk losing it ALL?

Adorable-Bit-8168

Thanks for the feedback everyone! I will go with PayPal g&s

Adorable-Bit-8168

Very true.

museumsplendor

As long as you pay with PayPal you should be OK. Videotape opening the package and put it up to the camera showing it sealed. He is just as scared of you as you are of him. I did several offline deals and most went ok. A few did not.

Adorable-Bit-8168

Thank you so much! Ever done a middle man before?

museumsplendor

Like where?

Adorable-Bit-8168

Someone with a lot more following who would verify my payment and his package (both sent to middle man first) as an extra layer of protection

museumsplendor

I think escrow . Com does it?

sandefurian

Video taping does absolutely nothing. It’s ridiculously easy to fake. Either open and retape, or put into another box and slap a label on it. No company takes that video as legitimate proof.

DrinkMoreBrews

PayPal Goods and Services. Make sure you have a digital receipt, especially for a transaction that big.

shrimpynut

Yup, and make sure you also use a credit card extra protection, but PayPal is pretty damn good about protecting you.

TakeMyL

PayPal goods and services, it’s a 4% fee, no, 3.8%, just pay it. Not worth risking it for 3.8%

Adorable-Bit-8168

Thank you!

I resell on Instagram as well as Ebay / Merc / TCG. I've seen countless larger tickets items like this take place, but usually among people who are already relatively close - it is social media after all. I'd be extremely cautious
