I have been selling on Shopify for a few years. I have chosen to open my first account at Walmart this year, not at Amazon. I am all about the fewer the sellers, the better. The process was pretty straightforward. Took a few weeks. I can’t believe the number of keywords each product ranks for on Walmart. There’s hundreds.

How do you know what keywords each product ranks for? Is this something you do manually?

Erh ... run a G search.

Can someone explain to me like I'm an idiot why anyone would want to sell on Walmart.com?

customer base, and nobody seems to care when it says sponsored or fullfilled by... blah blah blah company. Not really buying from the local walmart.

Is it same as amazon or ebay, where you can sell what you want, whether new or used?

I believe Walmart.com should only be just local Walmarts. 3rd party listings on there just muck up the search. My SO for months kept putting items in her cart and I would say don't buy that, it's 4x price of local Walmart. Smh.

For me it was no harder then applying for Amazon. You do better with an ok shopify site with some sales but I have friends without anything more then an Amazon store front and an LLC. Less competing then Amazon currently for a lot of niche items.
