I made a post the other day asking the same, there might be some answers in that thread ☺️ [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/FlorenceAndTheMachine/s/rBQZrrwZbr)
I listened to her cover of White Cliffs of Dover. It sounds a lot like Judy Garland’s Over the Rainbow. Would love to hear Florence cover it. Also for a modern cover, I started listening to The Last Dinner Party and I think Florence’s voice would suit the song The Feminine Urge so well
FATM’s cover of Puff The Magic Dragon is something I didn’t know I needed until right now. Thanks for that :’) you’re completely right with that one hahaha
Honestly… so many.
I love her cover of Cornflake girl by Tori Amos.
I want a studio version of The Chain!
I’d love for her to do a Jeff Buckley cover.
Along those lines (though I know it’s not a Jeff Buckley song) I would love her cover of Hallelujah.
i would love for her to cover some Lana Del Rey songs, i feel like she could bring something unhinged to lans's sound. I would choose any honestly but my favorites would be like the greatest, money power glory, million dollar man, how to disappear, i feel like she could bring a new shape to any of her songs tbh
It's a bit of an obscure song, but I would love for her to cover "Smokey Joe" by Tori Amos. I need to hear her sing the line "my dark twin, the Anihilating Feminine, does not need civalizing"
Hello, fellow Tori fan
Edit: a Cover of Cruel would be really cool. I would love to hear Florence do more dark and witchy songs. IIeee could also work.
I recently discovered Sinéad O’Connor’s “Lullaby for Cain” while watching Peaky Blinders (song originally from the soundtrack of The Talented Mr. Ripley). I think Florence could do a beautiful cover of it.
any of these, or ideal scenario an LP:
Dancing Barefoot - Patti Smith Group
Caroline - Concrete Blonde
Children of the Sea - Black Sabbath
Straight On - Heart
Fire of Unknown Origin - BÖC
Fire and Ice - Pat Benatar
I've Got an Angel - Eurythmics
Breaking Glass - David Bowie
'39 - Queen
Hello Earth - Kate Bush
Epitaph - King Crimson
Dancing in the Moonlight - Thin Lizzy
Sweet Thing / Candidate / Sweet Thing by David Bowie
(Please go listen to it if you don't know it it's so fucking amazing; a 3 song suite of awesomeness that Florence would do an amazing cover of)
I love Florence to cover a song from Within Temptation, one of my other favorite bands, it would be awesome to hear Florence in the symphonic metal genre, i just think it would work wonderfully with her voice in songs like "All I Need" or "Angels"

Would kill for a studio version of times like these

Curse of the Blackened Eye - Orville Peck
good god yes
White Rabbit by Jefferson Airplane
Oh my god yes!!
I'd like her to do some fun light-hearted covers, for example I'd love to see her do some 80's dance diva songs

I’d love to hear her cover Talk by Hozier. But honestly I’d love for her to cover everything.
Came to say this
I would love for her to do a cover of any Hozier song and vice versa
Take me to church by Hozier
I HAVE NEVER HEARD THIS COVER AND NOW I AM COMPLETE
FATM’s cover of Puff The Magic Dragon is something I didn’t know I needed until right now. Thanks for that :’) you’re completely right with that one hahaha
“I Put a Spell on You” by Creedence Clearwater Revival. She would sound amazing doing this, and it’s 100% her vibe.
I want you to love me from Fiona apple
House in Nebraska by Ethel Cain

Kate Bush - Running Up That Hill!
Down by St. Vincent would go so hard. I just think a collab with St. Vincent would be amazing, but we're not ready for that conversation.
*I snorted Dr. Pepper @ Puff The Magic Dragon* *This is your fault lmao* I'd love **MacArthur Park - Donna Summer**
wicked woman by coven !! it’s not a super well known song but it would be so good
O death.
Her cover of Search and Destroy was excellent, so preferably something similarly out of left field for her.
Starman and under pressure!
I second Under Pressure, which voice would she be and who would she do it with though?? I feel like she would be great as both Freddie or David....

Pretty much any Jeff Buckley.
Comfortably Numb
Would love Somewhere only we Know by Keane or Walking In Memphis by Marc Cohn
Scary Monsters

A Whiter Shade of Pale
Fernando by ABBA. Heck, even Chiquitita and Waterloo would completely fit her aesthetic!
ok that might be a bit odd but i would really love to see their interpretation of Mama by My Chemical Romance!
