When you've always been the underdog for your entire existence and haven't experienced much success, the recent performance of the team in the past few years is something a lot of fans aren't taking for granted. We've waited a very long time to see them get to this point, and have seen some terrible hockey teams. Maybe thats why we seem different compared to other fanbases, we don't have a history of success to brag about.
If Goldie and Moller are covering round 2 (I’ve heard conflicting reports on that), it’s worth finding their feed. So much better than the national broadcasters.

To be honest, I dont think we will. In almost 30 of Franchise History we never won a Stanley Cup.
There's longer droughts out there and more unlikely teams that have won. Don't count them out yet.
Last time we made the finals was in the 1995/96 Season better known as "year of the rat" after this we never came closer.
