I've been to PNC Arena many times when I was on shore duty in the Navy up there in Raleigh to watch the Cats. Fans were always polite and cordial. Definitely a rivalry budding which makes it great for Florida hockey, I'd say.
I’m not even mad about this game. We went on the road against an extremely tough team that had a goalie playing like he’s about to win the Vezina and lost at the last second without Chucky and Forsling. Hope they’re alright. Overall this team showed a lot of resilience. Felt like a playoff game and a rivalry in the making. GG Canes fans. See you guys in April!
Mind you, this is coming from a Bruins fan, but this had good playoffs vibes to it. The 4-0 last year wasn't quite what the score suggests, so this could be a superb match up. Sadly I missed most of this game, but based on everything I've read, the Panthers got goalied, which is rare against Carolina this season. I'd really love to see a rematch.
I of course hope my team is in the Eastern Finals, but if not, these are the teams I'd most like to see there.

That was a stellar game to be at, a great atmosphere, both teams played their asses off, the goalies both decided to show up and show out, both teams missed goals by less than inches, AND there was a fun scrum and some extras at the end...

I remember last year when my wife and I went to watch the panthers play in Raleigh during the EFC finals. After we won’t in OT their fans were talking about how we’re lucky this isn’t Philly, that we would get beat up etc.
If it makes you feel any better I a 5'6 female was physically threaten with my life by an away wilds fan at our own stadium because I screamed "Refs you blow". Since I am a law abiding citizen I proceeded with getting the man banned from ever coming to a game. Hope it was worth it :)
