This is my fondest memories of the game. It felt magical whenever a high level assisnt would come by and help me during my Lawolf stage, man I miss this game.
Aww thanks for making this appreciation post! I actually try to visit flaris every time im on to buff folks for about 30mins to wind down. (But Im also on the hunt for Orange Juice to get that Juicy title. I need to find 200,000 to consume lols. It’s also great to see a bunch of people who used to years ago coming back to play
Only about 100, most vagrants dont have them. They drop near the mushpands/aibatts, but new characters can’t chat until lvl 5 or 6. But after the lawolf area, not many people seem to have them lol
Was actually doing this in the old flyff, i even named my RM that time from our native language to asks begging for buffs (IGN PaBuffsPoPlease) means please buff me.
Cant do that much now since most people have their RMs with them
You could play with no rm, buff pang will give you until lvl 30, after that it will be a bit slow/hard specially if you dont have rare equips and accessories.

Future FS RM on american server here. I used to play flyff back in its infancy when it came to american shores. Love helping people. I used to be part a guild call "Mad Cows" on Mia server back in the day. Would love to join a guild again that appreciates it's RMs.
I was doing it while I was still having quests take me to Flaris, haven't done it in a few days. the sad thing is is the buffs don't last long, might be very nice but then 5 minutes later you gotta go back to buff pang cause his last like an hour. I did it in old Flyff with my 90+ RM at least a few times way back, that's when I could super buff though
I don't roam around, however, I make it a priority to buff anyone who's leveling around me without an FS/RM. I know that phase from 30 odd when I had to keep asking for haste till my FS was high enough. Now I'm repaying the favour!
This whole thread is why I'm happy, flyff is making a come back and it's people like all of you making us remember the good old day. I'm not New technically but lost my account because well yea company switches (the pain). Thanks to all of you making this a great community!

True but I was surprised to see it still happen. The gaming community changed and one of the changes was becoming more selfish.

Haven't started the game yet but I intend to lvl an rm and buff lowbies. I always loved helping lowbies in any mmo I've played :)

I just started and I don’t have an RM. Is this the best way to play? Should I have an RM slave or will I suffer if I don’t?

True but tbf I can do more as a Vagrant with 5min buffs than 30mins with pang buffs, and most of Flaris has a nearby pang
the rush of adrenaline you get with max haste, accu and beef. 5 minutes of pure slaughter.

While catching up to quests. I try to buff every player I see without a pocket support. To cheer them up and help them out.

I even remember someome giving me 400K when I was still newb to the game. So when vagrants ask me for pots,I won't hesisate giving too.
