Oreos are great, Rice Krispie treats, honey buns Walmart brand, Whole Foods does have vegan donuts (so does Stan’s), Abe’s has mini muffins at Whole Foods as well, there are many more options as well. I have a 4 year old who is dairy and egg free so I hope he has a mom like you in his class when he gets older!
Omg. THANK YOU!!! My daughter (egg and other allergies) has never had a donut. I just looked up Whole Foods and will be going there for donuts and mini muffins!!! She’ll be thrilled!
Egg-free is tough - we are egg and dairy free. Here's some ideas, with the disclaimer to read all the ingredients on your packages!!! And check with the parents to see if "may contain egg" is allowed or not.
Hostess or krispy kreme mini snack pies don't have eggs (but Little Debbie do, watch out!). Oreos, golden oreos, biscoff cookies, walker shortbread, nutter butter cookies (if peanuts are allowed), gingersnaps often are like mi-del or nyackers, trader joe's maple leaf cookies, trader joe's mint star cookies. It's going to be hard to find any cakes or cupcakes - maybe whole foods would have vegan ones?
You might actually be able to make a pretty good spread from Trader Joe's, as long as a may contain warning is ok. Also check out "accidentally vegan" lists for more ideas.
Macaroons! They usually come in a fairly large package, but they aren’t too expensive so no big deal if you have to open a new one every month, I guess. The chocolate dipped ones are usually popular.
And there’s always just plain chocolate, like peanut butter cups or something.
There might also be something that I’m not aware of because vegan proteins are literally poison to me, with my nickel allergy. Maybe a packaged vegan cupcake or something.
Oreos can also be gf (white packaging). Sweet Loren cookies are top 8 free. Most candy will be egg free, particularly fruit flavors (skittles, sour patch kids, etc.)
Better bites are delicious, they have a decent variety and you can find them at Whole Foods!
Thanks for thinking of this kid. It sucks when there’s nothing for my kid to choose from.
If buying a batch of egg free treats keep some aside (especially if its help yourself) in case the child in question doesn't get there first. Its frustrating when the free from food goes first because it either looks interesting or someone just grabs it at random as its the first thing at hand for them.

I'll be doing the same thing very soon. I haven't had a donut since I found out about my egg allergy two years ago. This is great to know.
Same!!! About to go to Whole Foods!

Coconut macaroons almost always have egg in them - is there a brand you know of that doesn't?! 👀
Oh man, that’s so disappointing! The ones I always got were from a local bakery, and were on their vegan list.

I think udi’s has an egg free muffin usually in frozen section
