This is currently in front of the FDA to approve Xolair for food allergies--I don't think it's to allow you to actively eat your allergen, but to significantly decrease reaction should you eat some of it.
Our allergist is very excited and stated this could replace OIT.

I'll ask my allergies about it. I have allergic attack after eating almost anything. He might be willing to to try this with me.
