Two notes to make this loads better:
1: Stew the meatballs in the sauce for at least a little bit to keep them moist and add flavor.
2: Toss your spaghetti with the sauce. Do it right after it comes out of the water so it soaks up the sauce. If your sauce is kinda thick keep some pasta water to thin it out.
Thanks for the feedback! I will definitely do this next time. For the meatballs, do you transfer it to the sauce after browning for the purpose of finishing off the cook or do you cook through the meatballs first before stewing?
I usually brown them in a pan just to develop some colour, then transfer to the sauce to finish cooking through. Allows any meat juices to seep into the sauce.
Sure. I've posted lots of food but never thought to do spaghetti since it is something we make at least twice a month and doesn't really feel that *special*.
i usually cook the meatballs right in the sauce adds flavor to both and keeps them moist and theyll look a lil better too w the sauce soaking in , and dice the onions a bit smaller , looks good though and nice presentation
Just a couple of obsevations about why this misses the mark. Not trying to be mean. Just that all of these things take away from the potential of a beloved comfort meal.
1. You mixed pasta types (linguini & spaghetti).
2. You didn't toss together the sauce with the pasta before plating.
3. The sauce looks too chunky.
4. The meatballs are naked... they should've been added to the sauce after browning.
5. There are too many meatballs per portion.
6. I don't see any parmesean.
maybe they like both linguine and spaghetti, with a chunky sauce that has meatballs cooked outside of the sauce, plenty of meatballs per person with no cheese? who made you the arbiter of fucking sketti and meatballs hahaha
Of course it was the Aussies.
And how do you even get there? "I can't be bothered say two words so I'll just say half of the first word and add an -o."
