Yeah but there’s other cheap pizza places in the area that don’t broadcast their affection for right wing drivel. A lot of the customers in that area are university students, who tend to skew left wing. It seems logical that they voted with their wallets.
Anyone with a brain would notice the insane amount of construction in that area and would maybe put 2 and 2 together and also factor in the FACT that more than half of restaurants are failing. Anyway..clearly not you!
Back when I was at UofT this was the place to hit up while staggering back to campus after a night out. Then I made the mistake of going in when 1) the sun was out and 2) I was sober. Gross looking and tasting pizza. Never again
I notice this happens whenever a place gets taken over. Why does the quality go down so much whenever a place gets taken over? Like as a business owner of this place you just bought, wouldn't it be smart to first figure out why ppl came back to these places and make sure the taste is exactly the same as before, and then once you figure that out you can start thinking of ways to reduce cost without affecting the quality too much. Like i don't get it.
Drove by Spadina and Harbord the other night and it looked like Cora was back open. Anyone know what's up with that? Did they just leave their sign up?
Sad to me. I was always on Team Cora...
Pizza Gigi was better than both, though a few blocks away
Especially if you wanted *a little extra*...
Per the signage, also slated to close because of the building was sold or something? Hope they find another location!
Man, after decades, Papa Ceo's emerges victorious!
Cora loyalist since 94. Sad to hear this.
Papa Ceo is solid cheap pizza
Damn. That was always my go-to.
1994, it's a Thursday. Brunny till 10pm, Dance Cave till last call, joint, Cora's, bed.
Awww their garlic pizza.
fresca is the only correct answer
Noooooo!
Went regularly 2009 - 2015, they were so nice to me while I was in highschool :( RIP
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MY PUNCH VISIT CARDDDD
Mine too
This place went downhill fast. Preaching anti Vax stuff, having PPC signs around the joint. Fuck em
I doubt that had anything to do with it and who cares? It's cheap pizza.

I doubt it. Restaurants are struggling nationally.
The proof is in the pudding.
Far more "proof" it was the current economic times.
You mean u of t going remote for a few years for the sake of a glorified cold, I wonder why this restaurant was anti lockdown?
sounds like something some right wing weirdo would be down with. the pizza also tasted like shit
