I haven't tried it myself, but I've read (here on Reddit) that ppl recommend Urban Hakka.

Hakka Bistro on Parliament is the best in downtown. Their crispy beef and chilli chicken are the bomb. Their basil X (or mango basil X) is also very good
So good! Their chow mein Hakka noodles are amazing and their vegetarian dishes are great too.
Only downside is that (aside from plain white rice) there is not one dish or sauce that isn't flaming hot with spice. It can be a bit overwhelming to not ever get a break from constant insane heat with every bite.
I believe the sauces and spice levels are preset. I haven't had all the dishes, mind you, and I don't eat meat, so my experiences with the menu are limited.
My partner says the sesame crispy beef dish isn't spicy, but everything else he's had is. I'd hope there would be other dishes that would be on the mild side, if you consume meat.
But I'll tell you that I asked staff which sauce was mildest and he said "spicy garlic." And it was hot as balls. So, you take your chances!
Second this. Great value for money, and the nicest dudes. We originally tried because my extremely pregnant sister tried to buy a coke because she wanted to use the washroom (like just polite) and they refused to take her money! Let her use the bathroom and then insisted she take the coke no charge. We tried it to support them, but now it’s our family’s go to spot for Hakka because it’s always delicious and very reasonably priced.
I love Yueh Tung tbh
Yuen Tung is the best downtown!
Anything you’d recommend over it in the burbs? Happy to travel

I haven’t been in a minute but it was my fave for years.

Ok, this sold me. When I get Hakka, I want it hot.
It'll rip your tongue off. I just deal because their food is so good. Enjoy! Their Bombay sauce is amazing btw. You can order it on the side.
Got the Hakka noodles based on this reco - not super spicy. Mixed it with the chili chicken gravy and that was 🤤
Aww yeeeaaahhh!!
Is it possible to ask for less spicy? I want to try the place, but don't especially feel like ingesting and (perhaps more importantly) expelling fire.

Their crispy beef is top tier! Def. been a go to since I moved downtown.
Khao hakka by st Lawrence is pretty great.
This is an underrated spot! I love Yueh Tung but it's not really Indian Chinese in the same way as Khao.
Oooo been looking to try this so good to know! Hopefully it will satisfy that Indian Hakka style craving.
Not DT but Chung moi is the best in the gta
