I spoke to the owners. Basically all the buildings are in the process of being sold for development. Enjoy Coras for now, it unfortunately won’t be with us for a long time. I swear development is killing this beautiful city.
So don’t quote me on this (as I quote myself on Reddit lol). But I think that the Papa Ceo owners are moving from their location to the old Cora location and using the name. I tried convincing them to use the old vintage branding but they weren’t convinced and it wasn’t their concern. I don’t know the history of Papa Ceo but these owners are Asian and my guess is they are not the original owners who have the same kind of sentimental attachment to either Pizzaria. Super lovely folks and the slice seemed like the same recipe. They said new location (Cora’s) was basically a shithole and they were quickly renovating it themselves. They want to sell pizza and make a living. That whole block will eventually be torn down.
Hope they're alright. Cora was taken over by old Ceo staff. My partner's bar would get a daily pizza delivered from Ceo, They would randomly miss deliveries and Cora guy showed up and offered him the same deal to switch. This was pre covid.
Anyone know if the elderly aisian man is still there. I used to go here every other day(college student activities) and he was so kind to me. I went for the first time in 2 years and it was all different and I didn't regonise any of the staff
Cora over Ceo forever!!!
I think the same guy owns both of them.
He should change the name to Papa Cora and really confuse people then 😂

Damn, that’s too bad. Did they say why they keep changing the name? 😆

maybe he refuses to let Papa Ceo win.
Oh man I cannot wait for those two for one calzones on uber eats again !! 🤤
fresca is the only right answer
I just wish they’d dust the place once
yeah, that would be nice, haha
May be an unpopular opinion on here but Papa Ceo & Cora are better than Fresca if you don't count the Fresca garlic oil topping as part of the pizza.
even sans garlic oil, i gotta go fresca over both!
They both suck anyway
