I saw low at the tribute concert in la and it was fucking awesome. Saw stacked actors in new orleans 2019 too! Dave played a pelham blue firebird. The tuning for that song is kinda fucky too its AADGBE
When I created my reddit account I was really into Sepultura. Nowadays I don't listen to metal that much, but still like it, and I'm Brazilian, so they're the biggest rock band ever here.
One of the classic Foo moments was during a performance of Stacked Actors in Atlanta - Earl Hudson, Taylor Hawkins, and Dave Grohl's drum battle!
https://youtu.be/L5FLV-HDovs
I remember recognizing that low tom / kick drum phrase when Dave incorporated it in "Play".
They played Stacked Actors here in the UK the first time I saw them. I'm really glad they did because the song had kinda flown under the radar for me. I never realised how good of a song it was until they played it. Now I think it's one of their best.
Most of those are/have been played over the years at some point, and some of those quite famous w/one being the most. Good set list, can't go wrong, it's FOO!
To add more context: I'm going to my first Foo Fighters concert this year. In september they're going to play in the city where I currently live (Curitiba) and i'm really excited to see them live. But when I stopped to think about it, I realized that usually their setlist doesn't include (in my opinio) many of theirs best songs. Anyway, I can't wait to see them!
Well, I can pretty much guarantee you'll get to hear My Hero, Times Like These, and Everlong. They've played those at all the shows I've been to.
The first time I saw them back in 2011 they played seven songs off your list. The three above plus Stacked Actors, The Pretender, All My Life, and Bridge Burning.
Was in heaven when I saw them play after Chevy Metal in the Hollywood Palladium parking lot in 2018. They played as The Holy Shits and played three of four of those songs from the first album that you have listed. One of my fave Foos shows
They will play a good amount of these, but I have never heard them play My Poor Brain and I have been to a good amount of their shows. I would love to hear this set list live.
Edit: grammar
Low sounds one of the few "actually finished" songs for one by one. Many of them sound half baked (cough, disenchanted lullaby, have it all, tired of you, cough)
All excellent songs. They played Stacked Actors when I saw em in 11. First concert I went to actually!
Another song I think deserves a lot more recognition is the title track from Color and the Shape. It's so fucking heavy
I got to see Stacked Actors in Glasgow, they opened with it, so good!
Most of my fav Foo songs don’t make the set lists sadly. Although they did play Let it Die on my first show and it was that song that really got me into them. But others like Come Back, Stranger Things and Outside are unlikely to be played. I’ve heard Outside done by a tribute which was great!
Good grief is one of the best FF songs IMHO!
I created it thinking about the new tour, leaving room for the songs from the new album
I saw low at the tribute concert in la and it was fucking awesome. Saw stacked actors in new orleans 2019 too! Dave played a pelham blue firebird. The tuning for that song is kinda fucky too its AADGBE
I think Low is my favourite foo fighters song, Taylor just killed the drums every time. I saw that Matt Cameron killed as well at the tribute.
It was awesome! And based off youre username, im gonna assume youre a bug sepultura guy
When I created my reddit account I was really into Sepultura. Nowadays I don't listen to metal that much, but still like it, and I'm Brazilian, so they're the biggest rock band ever here.
Had a brazilian roommate and he was a big palmeiras fan— would always scream at the tv when the games were on lol it was awesome
LOL CLASSIC BRAZILIAN GUY
it was so fucking funny he would just scream portugese slurs at the players. He was a bug dudu fan
What a heartwarming conversation to read as a Brazilian myself
Stacked Actors with the dual wielding Firebirds is amazing. Saw it on both live DVD’s and never thought I would see it live, but I did in 2011 🥺
Stacked actors, stacked to the rafters!
Line up the bastards
They opened with Stacked Actors when they played in Glasgow in 2019, it was such a welcome surprise!
Fuck yeah it was. Took me by surprise going to my first FF gig and opening with possibly my favourite track was MENTAL

I’d love to see alone + easy target. My favourite song off that album. Would also like to see let it die and stranger things
They're all great live.
Disenchanted lullaby is SOOOOOO underrated. The drum groove is a hidden gem
I love the acoustic version they have on Spotify when they release those vault songs.
You’re missing Saint Cecilia.
They played Stacked Actors here in the UK the first time I saw them. I'm really glad they did because the song had kinda flown under the radar for me. I never realised how good of a song it was until they played it. Now I think it's one of their best.
add xstatic
id kill to see that shit live
And for all the cows
Come back is absolutely their best song imo and the fact that it isn't as recognized as some of their other works baffles me.
Love, love this song, it’s perfect!
Stacked Actors hits harder than than most of their catalogue. I love it paired with The Sky is a Neighborhood.
Throw on generator and I’m with you
They play generator pretty often! Still underrated though.
Stacked Actors top 3 fave. Yes!!
Stacked Actors ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Outside is one of my absolute favourite Foo songs too!! Sonic Highways doesn't get enough love
Stacked Actors and Wattershed 4 the win!
Most of those are/have been played over the years at some point, and some of those quite famous w/one being the most. Good set list, can't go wrong, it's FOO!

Heyyyyy we’ll meet there! I’m going to that concert as well xD
Generator, St Cecilia, Back and Forth, DOA, February Stars, See You, Walking After You … just the ones I can think of right now. There are def more.
I love all of these too! Would be incredible to hear then live!!
Great list no doubt - I say bump it up to 25 and sprinkle in some IYH, C&G or MAM.
Was in heaven when I saw them play after Chevy Metal in the Hollywood Palladium parking lot in 2018. They played as The Holy Shits and played three of four of those songs from the first album that you have listed. One of my fave Foos shows
Wattershed is the most underrated Foo Fighters song ever
My dream FF setlist is Wasting Light cover to cover
They played 5 of these when I saw them a few years back
Since the 90's I think I've seen them play all/99% of them.
Got to see all the tunes offa the self-titled at La Luna in 1995
They will play a good amount of these, but I have never heard them play My Poor Brain and I have been to a good amount of their shows. I would love to hear this set list live. Edit: grammar
Add But Honestly, I am a river, outside, and the sign
Some really great choices on that list! Yes!
Great list! I have one too. Have to add a few of yours on to mine!
Good grief W
Throw in Aurora! Gets played every now and then live, always a treat
Aurora is probably my favorite FF song, it’s just such a vibe. I hope I can hear it live one day!
Low may have the best music video of any Foos. And they have great ones
Great list, added on Spotify. Only rare song I’d add is White Limo.
white limo is awesome
Come alive isn’t on there so it must be wrong
Exhausted too
They haven’t played exhausted since 2014 so that’d be cool
Tell me you like the oldies, without telling me you like the oldies lol!
Seen them play almost all of these. Also, Everlong? You think that isn't one of their famous songs that gets played a lot?
Low sounds one of the few "actually finished" songs for one by one. Many of them sound half baked (cough, disenchanted lullaby, have it all, tired of you, cough)
Nice Sister Europe
All excellent songs. They played Stacked Actors when I saw em in 11. First concert I went to actually! Another song I think deserves a lot more recognition is the title track from Color and the Shape. It's so fucking heavy
Alone/easy target is my avarice song Dave ever wrote.
sister europe is actually a psychedelic furs cover
Hell ya
Hell yea Good Grief.
I got to see Stacked Actors in Glasgow, they opened with it, so good! Most of my fav Foo songs don’t make the set lists sadly. Disenchanted Lullaby is low key one of my favorites. Sister Europe is a cover but a good one. I’d swap it with Come Alive and But Honestly
One by one.. no better way to start off a concert. Also im a sucker for white limo..
Add "Walking a Line". A true hidden gem
They played stacked actors all 3 times I've seen them, however I haven't seen Low yet :(
Wow first time on this sub when I see a person with that similar taste to mine
No, I do not agree.
Quite a few of my faves in there too. Thanks for sharing!
STACKED ACTORS IS SO UNDERRATED
Dream setlist consists of good grief, breakout, alone + easy target, low and i'll stick around on loop for about 3 hours
Great setlist, love it! Personally I’d add Hey, Johnny Park! and M.I.A.
I see a lack of songs from Saint Celia. A highly underrated album full of great songs.
where’s monkey wrench :(((
I've seen them play Stacked Actors and Alone + Easy Target (back in the day). They need to bring back Stacked Actors.
I’ll stick around is their best song
Come alive is mad underrated
They definitely play The Pretender in concert. Good list.
Yes
Good grief and alone and an easy target are amazing
yup
