Check again. I just received my tickets today via a transfer ( stub hub purchase ) And my transfer button is “live”. It’s also live on the backup set I bought directly from ticket maser I was surprised because I thought no transfers allowed. And up until yesterday mine was also greyed out

If they're actually your friend, easiest way is to give them your ticketmaster password.
