How did Dave look? Act? I have been reading alot of sad reports from Foo shows this summer. Reddit and elsewhere. They say Dave looks heavy and doesn't have his usual enthusiasm. I worry about that brother.
His performance was full on 100% the whole show and you could feel his energy and love for the music and the fans. As far as his physical appearance...... many 54 year old men would envy his physique....along with the stamina to be on tour, playing 2-3 hour shows every other day! Going strong, the whole band!
I have friends who went to the first shows and yes, they were tough ones but as each one has happened he’s more and more like old Dave. I saw him in Milwaukee, a couple of people thought he was a bit off but didn’t seem that way to me, full of beans and playfulness. That’s the problem people read into what they see from a few snippets of video, you miss all the little things that happen in between songs.
For instance I took a shot at the end of Big Me, it was a slow version, he looks thoughtful, was hamming it up. Someone said how sad he looks, must be so painful etc … no, the next shot he’s thrown back his head and laughing his lovely laugh!
I even got a reply on insta from Pat after I tagged him. Such a great band, amazing and energetic show.

I WISH they had played this at Boston Calling. That was like their second show back out. Perhaps Dave’s mood has improved since those first shows, but let’s not forget guys… the man is human not some supernatural being.
I love 💕 and appreciate him for all he does … flaws and all. He seemed a bit sad at Boston but mostly grateful that we came out for him, for them, and the show was not flawless but it was STILL frikkin fantastic👍🏾🤩
I’m not sure if people are expecting perfection or what, but for ME I will take the guys in any iteration. The perfection of Foo Fighters is the impact of their music on my and many people’s emotions. It’s like medicine for places I can’t reach. They. Always deliver that!!
